X-Raided shares pivotal moments from his early career, highlighting significant collaborations that shaped his musical journey. X-Raided recalls connecting with Percy Hunter, a fellow rapper from Sacramento, who provided X-Raided and others access to a makeshift studio in his home. This setup allowed X-Raided to produce early tracks for his debut, but the turning point came when another local artist introduced X-Raided to Brotha Lynch Hung. Impressed by X-Raided’s raw talent, Lynch saw potential and motivation to record professionally. X-Raided talked about funding studio time by hustling in his neighborhood, and explained who all played a role in creating Black Market Records and releasing his debut EP.

Yeah, this is actually quite rare with rappers. I've seen it so many times in interviews -- most can't remember even the sequence of key events, let alone the actual dates. Probably because when you live fast and you are high all the time, it just doesn't register the same way. But here is X-Raided with the dates and the names, in full detail...

Nope not at that time. Deftones came out mid to late 90's. He's probably talking about the group Tesla. Grammy nominated, Cake is another. But for that time period I'm almost sure it's Tesla. Also interesting fact, Why you treat me so bad by Club Nouveau was recorded in a miniature studio that's now a barbershop right alongside San Miguel Market right off Broadway & Stockton Blvd.
