Thanks dude. I used the tips in this list to improve my deck. I dont have enough UR points to make every card yet (maxx C and ashes) but it makes the deck soo much faster! Was stuck at silver and I became gold in a afternoon and rising still. 📈

Sure thing. In pure X-Saber, I use more of the theme cards like Fulhelmknight. Would like to use emmersblade, but is a bit too slow now. This version is pretty fun. Still focuses on getting to rescue cat asap for faultroll plays. And I realized it’s one of my only main decks that I don’t have built so I wanted to have a decent build that I could use for fun when I want but I didn’t wanna run the Tri-Brigade engine so I appreciate this!

@@jdcONhizPC No problem. X-Sabers was also one of my favorite decks back in the day. Cold wave, to rescue cat, to Hyunlei plays haha. Or Emmersblade, crash to get Fulhelmknight out and book of moon/enemy controller their monster. I think you'll have fun with this build. Summoner monk can get to rescue cat easily, and transmodify is great when used on a xx-saber darksoul to get into a rescue cat. Hand traps are a thing, but called by the grave, ash blossom and crossout designator are there to help. Tri Brigade version is probably the more competitive one, but the pure build is alot of fun.

@@braydonpost8398 I would say X-Sabers are more aggressive. It can play well to break boards with hyunlei and tries to swarm the board. Fun thing also is that it can go for a more midrange/control based play by setting up the field with naturia beast.

In 4:55 you should use ash first for the maxx c then use called by the grave for ash

Can definitely reach platinum. I think it can still do well in diamond if the deck sets up naturia beast. Will be great against spright runick that will be popular. And can still contend against swordsoul and branded. So as a rogue option.

​@@x_vanished I know this is way later and some changes in MD have taken place, but since Invoker has been unbanned I've been running a small Assault Mode package in my deck (since Assault Sentinel can be summoned off of Invoker and sets up a Gottoms Synchro; plus, Assault Sentinel/Beast are both viable discards for Kerass in the Tri-Brigade variant) The package is: Assault Sentinel, Psi-Reflector, Assault Beast, and Assault Mode Activate; Beast isn't necessary for the Invoker line, but having it in deck saves you from most situations where drawing the Psi-Reflector with no Sentinel access kills the entire line (not including the exact scenario in which you draw the Assault Mode also) Invoker is also another tribute for Gottoms's hand rip, or puts another Saber on board to summon Faultroll (Invoker summon Sentinel sets you up for both Faultroll and Second Call) I've also been testing out running Assault Synchron, but I'm not entirely sold on it; the idea is that the damage from the effect can trigger Reflection to search Second Call (or Emergency Call or Saber Hole, if you're playing either), and Assault Synchron + Faultroll = ASS Dragon into Baronne I much prefer the Tri-Brigade variant, personally; full Tri-Brigade combo (Fraktall access with discard) guarantees Rescue Cat access without using your Normal Summon, and since Cat can summon Airbellum + Kerass in niche cases for Naturia Beast there is no need for Valerifawn

@@ShiroiKiba The Assault mode package sounds pretty awesome to use. I'll give that a try with Invoker. I the deck has a lot of potential still. And any extra extenders added to the deck are a plus.

Have you tried them with Tri-Brigade? I have my Sabers and my Gladiator Beasts paired that way really really solid.

I was having a bit more fun trying out a pure x saber build, but the tri brigade version is definitely way better. Any other big cards you use in your x saber build with tri brigade? I also use tri brigade with my gladiator beast deck. It’s a lot of fun.

Hi Tumus, current master duel meta is runick and labrynth, mixed in with branded despia, swordsoul, floowandereeze. This does pretty well against runick with getting a Naturia Beast out. And does well against labrynth with naturia barkion and popping backrow with hyunlei. So I would still use infinite impermanence and ash blossom, as the core handtraps. Maxx c if you see more despia and swordsoul. Can also play cosmic cyclone in the main to counter runick stuff. Tcg is a whole other story haha. With Bystial, Tearlament and spright as the meta.

@@GarudaInfernous fastest way is to play multiple copies of the gottom's second call. you rescue cat, go into airbellum and dark soul, special summon faultroll, synchro into hyunlei, then bring back airbelllum with faultroll's effect, synchro into gottoms with faultroll and airbellum, then play gottoms second call to bring back faultroll and a dark soul. can rip 3 to 4 cards in that opening.

@@jdcONhizPC it can be a nice opening play sometimes if you don't open Faultroll. You can rescue cat to go into xx-saber darksoul and Valerifawn to go into Naturia Beast. Acts as an Imperial order against the opponent. Or go into it depending on matchups. Great against sky striker, pendelum decks, even branded despia as they won't be able to play branded opening or branded fusion.
