Therefore, at the request of the show's director, the band created a song that can be played forward and backward to match. According to the band, the real meaning of the song lies in "reverse".

To showcase this amazing work, this video features the Season 2 opening theme song in reverse in its entirety.

Since this is an official unofficial way to enjoy this song, I wanted this video to feature official unofficial clips. This video deserves way more attention, this is incredible, thank you for making this! So if the real meaning is in this song being reversed, does that mean the reversed part are words as well, not just gibberish? But are they in Chinese or English? I can't understand Chinese and if in English they're too distorted for me to make out (plus I have a hearing loss) so if anybody knows them please share!

Please subscribe and turn on notification. I actually have VORTEX played the normal way queued up for release next week, and I have captioned the reverse part. So, that should help you appreciate how the song is both forward and backward, if you're not aware already :) When the entire song is played backward, there isn't words except in the reversed chorus. BUT it's really hard for it to sound pleasing, so I think that's what the artist mean by the real meaning is in reverse. (I think it's more I did a poor job translating. You may consider "real meaning" more like the "real deal" or wisdom, or something more vague like that.)
