I own a D9. Simply amazing. Realize you need multiple scan tools if you are a professional mechanic and or work on different brands. One tool CANNOT do EVERYTHING! But this kicks the crap out of the snap off tool. Facts

There are many different videos on KZbin doing a walk-through of these diagnostic devices. It seems like there are many companies that are taking the basic hardware and then creating their own software to work with it. I think it would be interesting to create a video where you were able to have a discussion With the developers or at least the marketing people so that an end-user could determine how this company creates their software and assess their ability to update it in the future. I doubt these companies are just hacking their way through all these different automotive systems there must be some other company that is working with the manufacturers and then selling them the information.

The similarities across scan tool brands is uncanny. Like you said, maybe there's a company who "sells" them the info, making the differences between scan tools basically boil down to how cheap or expensive their hardware choices are.

My conclusion from the demo is i would rather buy mid range autel mk808 than this device, this is 1500 GBP we need to see it in serious action coding/flashing different cars, streaming/graphing many pids at once, and network topology at least !

Totally agree..it makes you laugh when these reviewers talk about clones. This is a clone of a clone of a clone, they all are! A fancy android case around a generic tablet with software that’s been copied from other tablets and a fancy gui…….that’s all it is. He also didn’t know any of the extra cables included, don’t waste your money on this

Hi If you still have the D9pro can you run the VCI test with the VCI test plug in and see if you get all pins data type ok. My shows a NG message on on data stream. Can you show the VCI and tool software versions too. Many thanks. The battery only lasts a day if you leave the screen recorder running .thanks. Ps The BMW programmes are suspicious as you need a very solid internet connection and the tool regularise crashes.. Have you tried programming BMW-BENZ or VW online with the Bluetooth off and the USB lead? Or the Ford Mazda offline programming? The can FF and DOIP ability would be interesting to be demonstrated?

All the Pids and no oxygen sensor or MAF voltage for a 1zzfe 1800 toyota . The cheapest autel has them. I was embarassed when I was performing diagnostic and had to resort to a cheap Autel tool.

d9 pro does not support online ecu coding for benz, I tried this it failed and I returned the tool.

The tool says connect a good internet connection. Switch off the Bluetooth and use the usb lead for BMW,Benz and VW online programming and Ford and Mazda offline.
