I lucked out. My hood didn’t snap but plenty of peoples did. I agree it’s weaker of the combiner set thus far. I also agree that bar piece is literally a pain in the ass. I think he’s kind of fun to transform but also agree need to be more gentle with this one. I am getting all three sets anyways and looking like due to scale the xtransbot will represent individual bots for me. Regardless I was surprised they went back to back release with dead end

My front snapped as well. Luckily X-Transbots is sending me a replacement part so I’ll swap it out and then file down some of the plastic to avoid it in the future.

I do think that the colour thing relates back to what you said about the creators taking things into their own hands and making the figure better than the on-screen model. Definitely could have done without the off-mustard gold(?)

Also I trimmed the plastic slightly on the nose tab to reduce the stress of snapping it each time. Between that and the shoulder snapping I kinda hate this figure now. :')

Also overly cautious about the possible "losing it in the 9th inning", with the way they stated they went back and did some "modifying" for Gravestone/Motormaster and the one or two cab situation. I don't care for the base mode at all, I was hoping with the 2 trailer talk, one was the Menasor frame and the other would be the base mode. Now hearing that it will likely only be 1 trailer but somehow get both base and Menasor modes out of it worries me to say the least.

Yeah didnt hear anything about a base either...there was one empty cab made for cars to fit in and one with the combinerparts as ive understood. Now its just the one cab with combiner parts but it still has room for 1 mp car as well, thats the current situation as far as I know.. I agree they can still screw this up though dont get me wrong :p

Some people online get upset about people who still hate XTB for their past. They have had really good figures, but I still worry about their consistency which is why I haven't dropped it. I had promised though if they could get through all 5 Stunticons with a consistent product I would completely drop their past and let it go. Of course at the time I fully expected them to screw up, though I was guessing Motormaster would be the misstep since he is the core of the combined mode (this was before we knew it was Zeta style partsforming) and would cause the most pain.

I have high hopes for this team. I have Breakdown, Wildrider, and Dragstrip on their way today and Deadend on preorder. I think they will sit well next to my Zeta Aerialbots. Not to concerned about the size difference, I had always though Menasor was shorter. Great review, I will take care when my Dragstrip arrives.

Bobby, the barrel of the gun is supposed to be pushed in when stored on top. :) Personally I prefer the bottom storage. and to keep mine driverless.

I wish all figures were as durable as Tiger Tracks. Not really a good spot for a faction logo in bot mode either. I wish more reviewers would mention this since I think most collectors add them. Great review!

If Uncle Bobby can do it, it's not really a problem (they definitely should have trimmed a bit off the lip to allow it to move easier though). Looking forward to combined mode now :)

How did you rotate the wheels into the correct position on the arms? It's way to tight on both wheels that they can't move that way.

Hey I was messing around with this guy to figure out how the menasor arms were gonna work and if you look, there is a BUTTON on the front crotch area. Press the button and he breaks in half. As does Deadend. In case people were wondering.

Does seem like a step back for Xtransbots - hopefully their Road Master will get back on track. Overall does look like good figure, aside from the issues or should that be unsightly mole. - like the analogy.

The metallic paint in the Renders for FT Brawn and Warpath was too shiny. It’s fine in both this gun and Dead End...it’s not necessarily that people sometimes aren’t consistent, but the metallic paint isn’t consistent, or sometimes it just doesn’t look right. Shiny face FT Hound is too much, but Shiny face Hasbro/Takara Prowl is fine. It’s just not always metallic black and white, and there’s (sometimes literally) metallic grey areas. How’d you like them apples, Skulltop?! 😋

I mean got to get the thing regardless got the other three but idk. Maybe it's smarter to wait on drag strip. Great review as always

Ah mack, you missed a couple of opportunities. One was to show a picture of that "Rumble takes it" with either MP or Ocular Max Rumble. As seen here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hGOWdamGiNqSbLcm31s The other was to show Fans Toys Road King/Motormaster with these Xtransbots Stunticons just as a comparison. Whether or not people want to combine them with to Road King with duct tape, at the very least shows how they could display in robot or their vehicular alt modes. In addition, showing"the people" the two different directions/sizes both companies are taking. Otherwise, excellent review. Again Bobby, showing us the concerns in transformations is always one of your many strengths in your reviews. Keep up the great work, mack! Don't forget some to add some onions to that Drag Strip mustard when you combine them on "Road Dog," or whatever Xtransbots will call Motormaster. Hmm, maybe that scoopity poopy brown is more like spicy brown mustard? Meh, it all comes out the same, haha! =P

I did find that this was their weakest release of the stunticos of the 4 released to date but with that said I still like this bad ass a lot. Fairly easy transformation and drag strip looks great in both modes and also looks amazing displayed with the other releases. I'm happy with the xtb purchases and would recommend this set . "Power flows to the one who knows how"

Masterpiece Mike reading trough forums it seems everyone has a different worse one with the exception of flipout. My worst is definitely flipout while most people seem to be raving that its their favorite haha only third party transformer ive broken something on. On mine the tabs that plugged in the fender were so tight they were nigh impossible to unplug. Third transformation, the tabs sheared off. And its not like im a clumsy oath or anything, I also look at 598s videos, tmans videos, emgos videos and forums to avoid unnecessary breakage. And yes I buy transformers to *shock&awe* transform. Xtransbot has promised to send replacement parts though, I gotta admit they are good at that. I bought one of those dx9 richthofen second runs with an awful awful unsightly gap in the altmode which clearly isnt on the picture on the box and was told by them 'its supposed to be like that' well dont use pictures that show otherwise on the box :/....thats just straight up deceit....got a bit off topic there haha

@@ApenBaard seems to be a lot of inconsistency with tolerance with the xtb. Ive been lucky with the ones I got since nothing broke 👌. Hopefully xtb will send replacement parts to those who need it. That's one of the many reasons I like fanstoys so much. My quakewaves fingers broke and they sent me a replacement hand along with an extra cannon and the electronics to go along with it, at No cost to me. They hooked me instantly after that. Shitty about the dx9, I dont like the scale so that kept me from giving them a go.

Solution for me for the front end? Can’t recall whom said it on the forum, but you fold it under the car first and then shave a small amount off between the pieces so it clears. Yes it’s surgery on what should be a healthy young bot, but it works quite well.

This figure was really disappointing for me. That back flap is terrible and the tiny "handle bars" feel like they are just going to break. Mine also had some cut corners on QC with a broken shoulder.

Taking care of that rollbar in robot mode is easy. Basically, the only reason it splits in the first place is so that the engine can pass through it to go in the chest. After you do that, just clip the rollbar back together the exact same way it was in alt mode. Then, in bot mode, it looks purposeful and can’t even be seen from the front. I am surprised that wasn’t the official transformation. It
