That control is just unreal. Just not natural to be able to do that!

This is what I was looking for: To see what the very latest high end 3D heli stuff is capable of if someone just flies it as hard as it can possibly be flown. Outstanding skills right there.

Rotating it perpendicular to the edge of the runway at the very last second is the cherry. So clean.

And using the rotor momentum to do it too, just TASTY.

And just think, with sufficient thrust a full size helicopter could technically be flown like this. I will never get over this type of flying.
@ProbablyStupidGuy Жыл бұрын
Gonna be that guy, but it would never scale up due to the forces exerted on the airframe a blades. No known manufacturing process can produce material strong and light enough to withstand that kinda force on a larger scale. The power to weight ratio isn't really replicatable at full size
@samuel.heinrich11 ай бұрын
I don't think you can scale this up to a real world helicopter, because of the weight the force would break the rotors
@logannewman453211 ай бұрын
Materials engineering hasn't gotten there. Can't scale this yet. And definitely couldn't have a human pilot on board. Deadly G forces involved here.

@@ProbablyStupidGuyyou do know that acrobatic helicopter pilots can do very similar things, including flips, already, right?
@ProbablyStupidGuy3 ай бұрын
@@SqueakyMcGee "similar", but no where near what's seen here. I'm an engineer who has worked in aeronautics. You can't do the exact tricks shown here with this level of agility.

Could someone please tell me what fuel these use? Or are they electric? Thank you! Awesome stuff!
@Kington99 Жыл бұрын
This one is electric, others use a blend of petrol, nitromethane and oils specifically made for model engines, usually known as nitro fuel

They should make something to tell the amount of G force that is generated in these helicopters. I imagine it would be pretty high for something so small

Now imagine one of these with a 9mm heat seeking head hunter gun, flying into a military base full of soldiers on auto pilot with eliminate typed in. Those dudes wouldn’t have a chance at shooting it down it’s far too fast and unpredictable
@adakalyoncu191311 ай бұрын
There is NO way autopilot can fly like he does. Tareq is an awesome pilot and it is incredibly hard to fly model helicopters as helicopters by nature, unlike drones they always throw themselves around, sway around, wanna tip over just by their gyroscopic torsion forces.
@NightBiker074 ай бұрын
Might be hard to program, but ultimately it could fly it better. It would be able to sense all those forces and the change in those forces from wind interference or weapon recoil. And be able to react instantly to the variables.
