Got that right, it really sucks to end up in a situation like that, pretty sure they both felt guilty about their best friend's death, it's easy to kill a friendship, but it's hard to have a new friend, especially a true friend willing to even jump in a fire to save you and all out honest and caring... They both were obviously sad to having to kill an old friend that could always be trusted so many times... Regardless of the reason they had to fight each others to death, there's no winner in that kind of fights, they still both lose something seriously valuable, many can only turn to the bottle...

The conflict of "Who would win between X and Zero" is pointless. Anything you multiply by Zero is 0. On the other hand, X as an infinite potential of evolution. What do you obtain when you multiply 0 by infinity? Well, it depends on the "0" and on the "infinity", but to be general, the result is unknown. What we can say is that Zero would destroy a brand new X. But we don't know who would win between a ultimate X and Zero.

While the successor indeed does have better spritework and a greater action-to-cutscene ratio, I must say I prefer this one more largely due to the outcome. The outcome of the successor seems more like a means to appease both sides of the fans with neither side winning, but this one handles the outcome in a more believable way. The ending makes the viewer feel good that X won and that Dr. Wily's dark legacy was put to an end before it could fulfill its purpose, but at the same time, seeing X

Quite frankly, I don't understand why people hate that X won. While I understand that Zero was meant to destroy X, remember that he lost to Vile in the first game. X could destroy Vile and his Ride Armors in X3 and X8 (yeah you can't blow it up in the boss battle, but it's pouring smoke afterwards). It's entirely possible X could have upgraded his stock body just as Zero did in X2. Statistically, X's abilities have the advantage here because of their range. Zero, while having the Z-buster, still relies primarily on the Z-saber.

swagg boss While Zero was designed to be very powerful, more powerful than X originally was, his power is far from infinite. Even X has to have his limits somewhere; without Light to make him new armors that adapt to the crisis he's facing, he would eventually be screwed. And it's not too hard to imagine that Vile probably beefed up his Ride Armors after Zero ruined his other one so easily. Of course, Vile's Ride Armors are destructible from then on, but that may very well be because X upgraded his own buster too.

GintaPPE1000 Still wondering how a dead guy is making armors for X(and reviving him after X5) the only ones to make any sense were the first armor as they could be set to show up if X approached and Gaea armor as even Light says its a slightly modded version of X's original design(in-game not IRL)(being built like a tank was not as good as Light thought at first so X was just a souped up Megaman in the end)

Zero would win. Remember a little game called X5? You know the one where they fought? If I recall correctly X was completely unconscious wear as Zero was both conscious and still strong enough to stand and counter Sigma. Keep in mind that if you were playing as Zero, X was wearing his Ultimate Armor.

If you want to go that far into the Mega Man Chronology, then at least get the facts straight. During the Elf Wars Zero was sealed away as scientists tried to isolate and remove the Zero/Maverick virus from his body. They succeeded in creating the Mother/Dark Elf from Zero and used it to get rid of the Maverick Virus. Afterwards Dr. Weil stole away Zero's body and placed a false consciousness inside of it that was named "Omega". X couldn't defeat omega so Zero was given a false body to help out. Eventually X and Zero defeated Omega together. Since Omega is Zero's original body, that means he has Zero's original power. X couldn't beat Omega by himself which proves that Zero is much stronger than X.

Steven Newell actually no, Mother Elf was made, then Wiel was a twat and infected it with the Maverick Virus cause he didn't get his way(which pretty much means reversing its Code, because it was made from the Maverick Virus Antibodies), X and Zero do shit, and the now Dark Elf is sealed within X, fast forward to the Zero series, and we got Omega using the fucking thing to super charge himself, which would be outside help, as the Mother Elf was MADE from the Data, it was not actually extracted from him.

Yup, and you're right he really said that, there is no way I couldnt say he didnt. However back then, Zero didnt knew the true extent of his power, believing that the power he had was already his maximun unlike X who was still growing and learning. Thats why he made that assumption. Actually in terms of power they are both equal. As a result as the proper video, X vs Zero decisive battle 2 would be the real result of their battle instead of this one (in the case they fought to death)
