Hey! I'm really impressed by how all your craft turns out. It'd be great if you recorded the crafting process.

Nice work. I plan on building this. Can you provide specifics on the visor? Maybe a direct link to where you bought it? Thanks

I think I bought on Ebay, something like this: www.ebay.ca/itm/353822576170?var=623193019618&hash=item5261780e2a:g:DGAAAOSwUjthwr4E&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAA4MjW%2FKft9ibLRPWKN1MEnl%2BJy%2FUsnYECf0js1syqhUygzjeJ45WY8YssXuCPm0tjGD2dbS0Zkm6CG1whtPmE%2Bx4SgEow0%2F7tQ5kpeak4wB5NM1P3NO3KFrdR%2FuTuS16XYIQEZ8BEEdGhMG2rodEKGOQ4XGF%2F0thFMh8QxpASB2yuaVh7tlU7wReaaUfPUuV%2BZGjA%2BjNZmClqqQycmuHcuLB58Vox8zxdA9zZV2cjX7P668n3GY6iZ%2FjTEqOUQaaKXEYPP7eaQgvJsmuETbdFJhUY5eYp5bx6lu3eR1Y5kdoO%7Ctkp%3ABFBMws_B3pFh

Hi, do you remember what diffrent spray colors you used? So the first one is some sort of plastic spray. Does it harden? and the afterwards you use a primer. Whats the diffrance between the who?
@lefthander38072 жыл бұрын
First you have to apply Plasti Dip (2-3 coat), without that the foam is like a sponge, not good to paint, after that comes the primer, and the base coat (i used RustOleum spray paint), this gives you a shiny surfice, so you won't need clear coat, but you still can apply clear if you want as an extra protection.

Your files don’t work, is there any other way you can share them?
@lefthander38072 жыл бұрын
I just checked, they work, but if you give me your email I can send them trough.
@jadesarlonade26703 жыл бұрын
So I know they’re foam but I see you cover the seams with the white glue. are the finished products hard after that or are they still soft and mailable to the touch? I prefer to have solid props rather than soft-ish ones.
@lefthander38073 жыл бұрын
I would say that have more of a hard surface to the touch, and I used 1/4 inch foam, so the whole thing is pretty solid!

Where can we contact you if we have some questions regarding the build? I'm stuck at the side extensions...
@lefthander38073 жыл бұрын
Yeah, this is the most difficout part. The best if you heat them with heat gun and bend them to fit the shape of the helmet, then glue them in place (but glu the white and black pieces together before you do that ). Will help when you glue it,f you fit it to the helmet firrst draw the outline on the helmet that give you the exact position. When you glue it you can't really adjust enymore.
