This recording is by SAF BANDS (I remembered the saxophone syncing issue at the slow part - I was there live!), recorded during the Meet-the-Composer session with Satoshi Yagisawa conducting. The recording quality is pretty well treated that's why it sounded "professionally done". :)

Really like this music!.. After my school's band played this , I immediately went to KZbin and search for it... One word that I can describe it: 'Awesome!'

Yeah, it's a euphonium n tenor saxophone solo together. Like Memories of Friendship.
@grenader12412 жыл бұрын
Maybe it's because the wind instruments over-powered the timpani. What was heard during the live performance may be different as the wind instruments are closer towards the recording device than the timpani and other percussion instruments. Hope you'll understand.

one of the best i've ever heard. most schools will cock up during the tambourine part. probably some outside band did this recording. i think the same band did a recording of memories of friendship too. just guessing xD

By just hearing how the band sound is like, at first glance i know it is a Japanese Band. The Ang Mor people sound not like this. More like a little grand. But Japanese band different. It is super grand, Super Clean and clear. You can hear each instruments in this recording.

@tiptopmana this recording is done by SAF Central Band, with the COMPOSER himself conducting. Do not doubt the clarity that is heard in every part of the music

@power0fice why would i seem like the one who's more worked up? maybe because my trolling instincts just kicked in. sorry about that. and before saying that im worked up, you should probably check your previous comments and see who got more worked up first LOL. well anyway i'm just stating my point that this isnt the SAF band's recording, which you were desperately trying to prove or something LOL.
@Iolayay13 жыл бұрын
@power0fice really? didn't notice the difference. then who could this be?
@DoraEatBabies13 жыл бұрын
this isnt played by saf band.
@DoraEatBabies13 жыл бұрын
@etulf82 first of all, this WAS NOT played by SAF Band. and for people such as ABeLLzz and power0fice, this is a reference recording. the timpani isnt TOO SOFT. if you play it any louder, it's probably too loud. thats why they make reference recordings such as this one. it's the ideal way of playing the piece (according to the composer). so, stop being morons and saying the timpani is too soft or whatever. and @power0fice sorry but no one really cares about the timpani in temasek's recording.
@ABeLLzz13 жыл бұрын
@power0fice Aiya Tambourine loud then nice mah (: But If too loud then if the hand suddenly have wrist spasm then I nothing to say hehheh... Lollol resonance! Never really understood that concept... Oh then you're sec 4? Or you mean graduate out of the school already o.o...
