x2 Hampshire Fire & Rescue Service - 32 Eastleigh Double Turnout To An Emergency Call

A double turnout from Eastleigh fire station with both their main whole time water tender and their retained water tender ladder both using bull horn turning out to a house fire also attended by 53 Redbridge.

Liking the design of the 2nd pumper. And it has an EMS symbol on it - does that mean it responds to medicals?

CobraEmergencyVideos the symbol is the badge of the recently introduced Immediate Emergency Care capability on all frontline appliances. As of yet medical response with appliances isn't routine (more of an ad-hoc in special circumstances) but there's scope for it in the future. All depends on what SCAS want.

I believe so yes, though these days they dont seem to get used as often as they once were. 54 St Mary's also have controlled traffic lights though for them they have control to turn a number of lights in a row green giving them a clear response out of the station.

It is not so they can drive on airports, it's because it has been proven to be more visible then blues
