I have an x1 for about 2 or 3 years now with no problems ever. I leave it for a month and come back and fires straight up...with the almost exact modifications made i this video (xaxis strain relief, pcb covers, heat bed flst xable yay). This machine will be excellent!! 3d printers have not gotten new enough to be expensive

Is there a risk of breaking the glass tray after PETG printing? Is it necessary to drive something
@MrExpert2 жыл бұрын
No risk at all. it comes off just like PLA when the bed cools down

Got mine set up but the filament wont stick to the print bed at all and it ends up getting clumped at the extruder. Not really sure what I'm doing wrong yet =___=
@MrExpert3 жыл бұрын
Clean the bed with rubbing alcohol and reduce the distance of nozzle to bed for first print.

Would you happen to have the start code and end code text file? My usb didnt come with it and their website doesnt have it.

Do u have the latest cura? Add and rename the X1 file.

@@MrExpert Yes. I was looking at the manual and it mentioned the start and end gcode that you're suppose to change on cura, but it looks like you dont have to do that.

@@MrExpert Any tips for TPU and other materials in general? … Mine keeps ripping them off the build plate and not finishing first layer lines.
@MrExpert3 жыл бұрын
@@enhidri160 lower your nozzle a bit more than you do normally, Use a bit of hand rub alcohol to wipe the bed every once a while. BUt the most important thing is the distance of nozzle from bed, Try reducing it until your print get stuck pretty good. for TPU keep the bed at 65 C, Nozzle at 230C , print at 30mm/s speed, parts cooling fan off, retraction off,

I prefer Videos with spoken informations and pros AND cons. This is more like advertising. What about PET-G? It’s not listed as printable material. May be because of the glass bed? What about the heat bed? Some people complain about cold regions on the bed.
@MrExpert3 жыл бұрын
Hello, This is not a review just unboxing and Impressions. I am using thid printer mainly with PETG these days. Its all about right settings and usage. (240 nozzle 75 bed temperature) Regarding cold temperature it does happens on the edges but none of my prints failed coz of it. I am still in testing process review and comparison will come later. Cheers
