RailBirdGaming sorry dude.I agree with you but i think the closest we've gotten to that was the Amalgamation universe in which Wolverine is basically fused with Batman forming Darkclaw and Sabretooth merges with Joker to create Hyena.

and we will never know, but because Sinister was literally saying those lines as Wolverine was initially on the screen, I think it is safe to assume he meant him - also they had witnessed Wolverine beating Sabretooth multiple times, so he was obviously stronger.
