Because of how popular the game is on KZbin, I believe adding mods and not sandbagging is a net positive in terms of viewer retention. New, busted runs will keep more people watching than it will deter people from watching. Personally, I enjoy them more than vanilla

Honestly use whatever mods you want. People are going to complain no matter what you do. Enjoying the content you create is more important. I personally like the "restricted" mod runs you do. I find its a good balance of showcasing crazy builds, while also giving the illusion of challenge in the beginning. Half the fun of these type of games is watching the ramp up to a broken build. Starting off completely god mode at the beginning isn't too appealing to me as a long form video, could still work as a short form showcase though.

I am in no way subscribed nor do I feel like doing it but I support his videos more than over 80% of the people watching since i do have premium. I feel it's only fair he quit his scammy behaviour. I counted 88 trees destroyed by Sifd with another 4-6 being destroyed by turrets. There was also one that popped for no reason, as nothing hit it. Hard to count since the turrets destroyed some off-screen. x31 more trees gave you almost a hundred trees, still not as many as expected

I’m really liking the mod content, you can showcase the one in a million runs more easily. I understand the “natural run” type people, the “good old home grown grass fed wild run” types but all it means is you’re throwing away hundreds of runs. This just cuts out the tedium of hitting restart a thousand times, and we can focus on the fun gameplay.

One of my favorite builds is a mage with slingshots, regular towers (not the burning towers, as that damage is based on engineering), babies w beards, extra ricochet, snakes etc... the point is to try to hit as many enemies as possible, and make them burn, but not die from the direct damage. So... getting all the scared sausages, snakes, and spread out autotargeting spreading fire as possible.

As a meme connoisseur, I say break it as much as possible. Lots of weapons, crazy stats, everything like that is fun for me to watch. So possibly future games: EXTREME attack speed, but ignore +damage things. Extreme harvesting with funny weapon like a stick that hits super hard so high damage but amassing crazy money. Stuff like that is fun to me. Do whatever seems fun for you though. If you're having fun, we can tell and enjoy it more too. Just doing our ideas that you think suck won't be fun for anyone. Also I typically always buy the tree item and what I have noticed is once you buy it you get a bunch more trees for a wave or two. After that you just get some more, like as if it has a "progression" where you get a ton at first and then you get less after awhile.

I have a weird idea. The bull character (whichever one explodes on damage taken), getting luck through items and level ups, and getting that weird food item (the one that looks like a dragon head). This would make food appear often from enemies and give a lot of health. The bull character might let you win the game (maybe not the last wave) without touching your keyboard during waves.

I think you should do what makes you happy when it comes to modding this game as you've already done everything by the "Rules". I really enjoyed this video and it brought me joy and laughter listening to your commentary as you played. My father died yesterday at noon CST and as you can imagine it has been very hard for me to find joy in anything since then. This game play however and hearing all your ideas for modded runs had me smiling the entire length of the video. My friend please continue to do whatever brings you joy and leave those who hate this by the roadside as you Zoom-Vroom-Zoomie-Zoom-Zoom right by them. Every single run you suggested doing sounded to me like a lot of fun because you will be having fun as you create the videos. Do everything and anything you want to the game with mods and share all your creations with us so we can pick and choose the ones we like to do our own runs. The Dev behind this game has seemed like the Anit-Fun lord to me and I was actually going to refund this game because he refuses to listen to his customers. How long has it been now that people have requested an endless or infinite mode and he's refused to make it happen? The Dev has refused to do it all while making what I consider un-needed Nerfs for "Balance" in a game that should be all about the fun not difficulty and grinding. Does he think he'd somehow loose more customers than he'd gain if he actually did what a majority of customers would love to see available in the game? I don't know but I can say with 110% certainty I would have refunded this game because of that Anti-Fun must be balanced stance this Dev has. This is not a competitive game and as far as I'm aware it was never presented as a RogueLite, there are no leader boards or official tracking of the game play so why all the concern about balance? This game should be all about the fun of coming up with most insanely overpowered build that one can imagine to create the most chaos and carnage available. To be able to play for one run or endlessly for an entire day if you want. Not with artificial difficulty such as inflation or what used to be fun items, weapons and characters that were extremely fun and something anyone could have a great time with being nerfed for the sake of "Balance". This games a VS type of game and doesn't have any real progressing things other than unlocks like the majority of VS games. There are no tech or talent trees, perks to unlock or special items that you level outside of the game play. They are unlocks and what you see is what you get so again why the need to take things that anyone could have fun with and make so only 1% of the best players get to use or play with and only then on an extremely lucky run? Sorry for the TLDR: I'll make it simple you do what makes you happy and provides you with the most fun. I for one am here to hear your commentary, watch the wacky and insane builds you come up with and see just how over or under powered you become as a result. I can play this myself if I want serious, (news flash I never do as I just want to have fun with a game like this so I will be modding it and if mods were not available I'd refund it). I want to hear you having a good time playing the game and not be bored with it which will eventually lead to you not playing the game anymore. Which would be a shame to not hear the amount of just pure joy you experience playing it the way you like...

you can do the normal runs you've been doing with rainbow chests but you have to take an item thats fully unrelated to your current run that actually makes you lose damage every 2 rainbow chests. (after getting the item you wanted for 2 chests you gotta take the penalty item for the 3rd.)

Ideas * I still want atleast _one_ Star Wars game! * I was thinking superhero themed games, or movie-stars like Conan or Terminator, but maybe it's rather hard to pull off... Flash with speed would ofc be the easiest * I was thinking of an RPG mod... it might require more than 20 stages though. But the idea could be something like this: You gain levels faster. Each level gives stats like damage and attackspeed etc. depending on what character you play, so you *don't buy* stats for upgrades, but _skills_ instead. And/Or, you have one of each skill, but you purchase a % in _increase_ to every skill. Like an additional +50% more trees, more +20% better piggybank etc. Adding small mini quests to the game could also be entertaining with special rewards with/and temporary portal openings to other stages... I dunno, everything from capture the flag, break into a sieged fortress (of potatoes of course), rescue a potatoe princess, nemesis games with another potatoe... I have no idea if this is any good, but could be something to build on. Food for thought.

This is your channel and you should do what makes you happy. Those who like your content dont care about modded or unmodded runs, they just want to see you have fun and see nice runs. But if you want to try to please everyone, then you could have 2 series. Normal series, where you play game normally and try to beat it normally on all difficulties and try to get busted characters and what not. And then modded series where you do stuff for the memes and luls.

Weapon weights are added once you choose weapons. It’s randomized each roll based on slot. So if you have 6 different weapons it will weight all of them.

As for the tree spawning - enemies will wink out of existence if there are too many on screen on once - it wouldn't surprise me if you didn't keep enough enemies cleared out that more trees won't spawn 😢 And I like the modded meme runs!
