His relic only picks up materials. Pickup range applies to everything. He says, less than two minutes before taking those items, that he wants to pick up all items to prevent lag.

When you do a melee run get alien baby to increase the enemy movement speed, you’ll kill them a lot faster and helps with the lag

If you combine mods, definitely Extatonion and your mod that you've been running. There is a mod pack but it includes the Star Wars which breaks a number of the things in Extatonion which sucks. Would love to see the silliness with the new characters and the custom characters from that mod using your rainbow boxes and meme-ing it to hell and back lol
