So, fun trick I discovered by accident. Each archive shares the faction reward list, but not the inventory. I found this exploit by accident. I stumbled on 4 archives in one system that had storage augmentations on their list. I put a base at each one as I found it. Now, each time I visit that system, I teleport from one archive to another using the base teleporters and get 5 every time I visit that system.

for ship collectors, multiple portable refiners may be your friend ;) But do it the honest way at least once. Great video packed with great info as always

For finding shipwrecks, you can also use the Nautilus' scanner to find underwater wrecks - no charts needed. Alternatively, find "secret race" ships but that's a whole 'nother video... Speaking of - you can also find all 3 types of expansion slots in the wheelbarrows of the "secret race" camps but it is not reliable.

I tend to buy the drop pod location charts from small settlements on the planet. It can get boring after a while so only grind for exo-suit slots for a short while to avoid tedium.

Another method that works for me: Score enough salvage data to buy an exocraft blueprint other than the minotaur or nautilon, and enough nanites to buy all their radar packages. Install them after collecting their components. Exocraft are capable of singling out drop pods using their radar, so no map-based guessing games. Always keep enough material to build a fresh exocraft bay; built it when you deploy to a new planet, summon the exocraft, than scrap the bay. Startup is a tiny bit labor intensive, but having a device that can seek drop pods specifically is a huge time and money saver. Mix and match all the tactics available to stave off grind boredom.

I found if I travel around enough, I can find two stations with free exosuit slots from the Guild rep. I simply teleport back and forth between two stations to get the slots I need. I don't know if this is faster than saving and reloading or not. This also works for any inventory at the technology vendors - they all reset each time you teleport away and back. So getting 3 S-class Warp upgrades can be done in similar manner.

Atlas path, i always do that same time when upgrading my Exosuit, ( i have 8 characters so i have done it 8 times so far ). Some trade posts also used to sell those drop pod beacons, i think they still do, but i'm not sure and that's only money not nanites, amount how many they have depends on trade post and sometimes they are even on sale. So maybe the fastest way to upgrade your exosuit might be to buy them from trade post which have them on sale and then save and load and buy them again.

Same here. I must add that for my main saves, permadeath mode, I only expand to 30 technology slots and 70 cargo slots.
@XainesWorld25 күн бұрын
They do sell them but they're 100 times the cost of nav data, so I always look for the data instead for bulk purchasing
@Tontteman25 күн бұрын
@@XainesWorld Yes, expensive, but i have seen them on 60 percent sale, so if you have money i think it's good buy. I use them couple per planet and scan everything i can see every time i land and usually i get all animals, that's 1750-3000 nanites from most of the planets i land ( i don't hunt those animals what are hard to find ). Atlas path is excellent for multitasking, exosuit, multitools, money, nanites, ships, all plants and ores. So even before you build your first base and do Artemis quest line, you have everything you need to finish them fast, so you can leave Euclid and find planet for your forever home. That is when real fun begins, at least for me.

Thanks Xaine a great little video there, nice and helpful to new players 🙂If you don't want to waste nanites on the economy scanner though you could just buy some crashed ship maps and then at each crash site interact with the beacon and it will give you the ecnomy scanner usually on either the 2nd or 3rd ship you find 🙂 Peace!

It was just a lot more faffing to do that as you need the scanner to get easy bulk nav data

Put a suit upgrade in a portable refiner and duplicate cate it to the amount you need then go to the space station and presto your done. That's the easiest way to do it.

Unrelated to the video but has anything changed with the crops part of the stasis device farm
@XainesWorld25 күн бұрын
Yes, they recently disabled the optical drills affect on harvesting crops, so you'll need a few more crops than before

Wait, are you saying if we build a S-Class fighter in a Vykeen system we’ll end up with a better supercharge layout?
@XainesWorld25 күн бұрын
no, not at all. Each system has its own seed for the super charged layout and bonus stats for the combination of parts you chose. A system will always give you that layout and bonuses for the parts you and anyone else chooses when trying to build it in that system, so by trying the combination in multiple systems you can see what layout a system gives you and hopefully find one with a good layout. That's what i was trying to get across

Nah as someone who literally hates the pages and pages of slots I now am plagued with on my main save I got it because of waypoint 4.0 update they merged my cargo and inventory. Don’t do it unless your sure cause now I have to transfer saves and all kinds of shit to edit my save to get rid of it. Just so clustered and unminamalist But if you want max in 5 seconds get one inventory slot upgrade from someone in anomaly or any expedition And just place portable refiner with it inside and out another on top remove both and it’s duped. Takes 5 seconds to get a stack. Max inventory there ya go
@jackochainsaw24 күн бұрын
I don't know why they made that change. I much preferred having the extended cargo slots (I think most people did).

N boring 😂
@FoulPet25 күн бұрын
@HawaiianMuslim I find constantly digging holes boring AF. Running around scanning the same things on mildly different planets boring AF. I'm sure longtime players have little need for money, so either start multiple new games in the same repetitive universes or be bored AF. If it was half as entertaining as you think it is, then it wouldn't be an option. I get enough thrill doing the expeditions. The game is nothing more than a convenient way to waste time. If you want fun, play Cyberpunk or Baldurs Gate.

@ buddy is ranting lol if you don’t like the game delete it. Have you ever gotten a staff legit? To me it’s fun playing on permadeath and it shows a symbol next to your name to show everyone you’re a permadeath acc
@FoulPet25 күн бұрын
@HawaiianMuslim I did delete it. Reinstall it not long ago when I saw the updates. Other than it being prettier, it's changed very little. If I need more HD space, I'll consider your suggestion. Until then, I don't need to mine anything to build. I don't need to farm fuel to explore or hunt ships. If you enjoy survival games, play something more challenging, like games based around pvp. If you like rock farming, play Minecraft. I'll enjoy system hopping for free, planet exploration with no hassle, building with 0 inventory, and the ability to delete everything without losing nothing. The same people whining about creation mode are the same people who use exploits and glitches. I played the game for a while before clicking it on and don't regret it at all. I have the option of playing in either mode. Especially during expeditions. You apparently don't have that choice. So I will always get more out of the game than you do.

@@FoulPet i don’t think anyone has ever whined about someone playing in creative mode🤣 this game is wayyyyyyy better than Minecraft hell no I ain’t goin bck to Minecraft ever again. I don’t really like survival games but this game is really fun. Imagine not ever playing permadeath and thinking creative mode is more fun 💀 you do realize on permadeath I basically am playing on creative mode the way I got all my farms set up. Skill issue really .
