@@AJ-iu6nw Bru what are you talking about? Most NBA players transitions and gradually develop ian NBA frame with diet and nutrition the team provides. Dude already has a very athletic frame to build upon. The most important thing is skill development, which he already has. No college players can easily guard NBA guards right out of college because NBA players already have so much nutrition support, training, and experience to elevate their game. And Modern Defense is not about stopping players 1on1, because you can't. The internet is a crazy place. Dudes just be making comments.

@@jasez8812 you're just blinded by your bias for him to succeed. Ofc i wanna see the dude succeed but as an asian boy with a skinny frame and good handles/shooting, he doesn't have the requesites for an NBA guard even off the bench. There are thousands of dudes who can shoot and hoop as well as him but also pack on the muscle and masculinity that is required in today's league

@@st4r444 Lin was averaging 12 ppg shooting 27% from 3 in his sophomore year, he didn't average 17 until his junior year and Xaivian is already doing that for a better team than any of Lin's Harvard squads. They do both play somewhat similar though relying on an explosive first step and quickness to get past opponents. This could spell trouble if Xaivian ever gets into injury trouble, as Lin got tanked by injuries because they chipped away at his speed

I hope he is mentally strong to accept not being drafted into the NBA and settling for being a pro overseas or finishing his school and start a non-basketball career. I hope i am wrong, but so many of these types of videos of these players every draft year and they just get forgotten after failing to be drafted. Just the reality that most if not all asians dont get any respect as being legit basketball players.
