The first stage has us playing as Gilgamesh. I'm sorry I mean Zhong Hui. He fights with the flying swords moveset. I...don't even know how. Apparently he's even better at telekinesis than Zhuge Liang. No wonder he's so cocky. Anyways, his moveset is pretty fun and his musous are two variations of sword spam that absolutely shred the enemy. It's awesome. Anyways you basically just defeat all the enemies in your way for this part.
Battle two puts us back with Deng Ai. Now you're advancing above the mountains as Zhong Hui advances below. You have to take care of the enemies to clear the way for Zhong Hui. Not that Zhong Hui is happy about it.

Deng Ai's secondary musou is great. It's a hilarious kind of realism that juxtaposes with how "larger than life" everything else in the game is. He just breaks your arm. That's it, you're done, go home.

It’s so weird how Ma Dai and Xiahou Ba are both seemingly killed in the Jin story, yet they continue to appear in the later battles.
