Toshimitsu is actually Motochika's brother-in-law, his wife Nana (your bodyguard) is Toshimitsu's sister so they're related by marriage. That being said, I kinda wish they explored this dynamic in SW5 with Motochika and Toshimitsu, since Toshimitsu ends up being Mitsuhide's little footstool who hardly interacts with anyone else. That generic Toshimitsu and Motochika's one interaction here was more interesting and heartfelt than anything Toshimitsu did in SW5 as a character is a damning indictment of how far Koei has fallen

It's very funny that the characters' children or relatives have a generic appearance. If it were more secondary, it would be fine, but the NPCs look generic.
