I have a headcanon for this Pirate AU. If you look in the credits, it says 'Mutiny Leader' for Xander and 'Mutiny Crew' for the chorus. My theory is that Xander overthrows Alex, the actual captain, then everyone sings and dances and stuff before Alex comes back and gets everyone to stop.
