Xan's Climbing - Steppes Pre-Patch 9.20

While making my Mountain Pass video, I've discovered new climbs which can completely break the map if done right. Get ready for some game breaking climbs and hold on to your seats, next video is going to take a while to make, but it will be epic! I'll try to get it to the public in every way I can, I'm super excited to show you the climbs! I predict it will be done the 11th of october. Have a great weekend everyone!

***** Yeah that's right they removed so much maps that were unbalanced and stuff but they can't remove 10 maps without making New ones or fixing the old maps.. Thats why it's getting boring over time and I wish they would set their focus on the maps. Since so many players miss the old maps.. And I would appreciate new maps as well that are not only for heavy Tanks..

You are such good at climbing. 100% fame's mountain goat. What does wiggling to and does it actually work? Cos when i do it i just lose speed

With climbing, if you turn, you have traction and you won't slide down. With wiggling you turn very fast left and right, maintaining speed and height, don't turn too long to one side or you'll lose speed. I hope this clears things up a bit.

I've done this deliberately because it saves a lot of time finding suitable music + editing time, if you want to watch a specific climb multiple times over, having no music is better in my opinion. Because of the structure of the video, it's recommended to watch the same climb multiple times and with the way I've tried to do it, I think this suits the best. Thanks for your input though

bulldog and t49 slide a lot it's not possible to do what you with a bulldog or t49

well, I failed to climb it yesterday in a random battle. Need to study more the correct approach to the hill. Would be nice if you could add UDES 03 to your climbs. I saw you did it before, but it was probably on the test server.

great job, i sucess climb F1 by bc25t in mountain pass after seeing you did it with 1390 on stream. Of all boost A3 is the hardest for me, take 1 hour to do it 2 times :(

No probs dude! F1 is very good practise for a starting climber! My first time getting A3 took me 45 minutes, you can't believe the amount of satisfaction I received when I first did that climb :D

It seems like a logical thing to do if you just want to watch the video once and see all the climbs being performed. But it's a whole different story if you try to actually learn it and have to watch the video ten times over. Then that background music can get in the way of the learning process. Because it's not just the movement, but also the sound the tank makes when going up the hill which gives an indication of traction. And background music can be annoying after a while, ignoring the fact that it would take me a couple of hours more of finding appropriate music and editing it in. I hope you understand :)

steppes is so hard to climb anywhere.... ;) today i drive moren than 1 fucking hour but the climbs are impossible

If anywhere I would start climbing on F1, this is considered the easier ones. Here you can start learning how to drive forwards and backwards while turning on the spot when having no speed. This ability comes in really handy in the next video, Mountain Pass ^^

Boosts are called 'boosts', because another tank pushes you up a certain height. This is what essentially gives you a boost, I know right! Wow. Climbing is a term describing a single tank going up a mountain as is depicted in the video. Thank you for your accurate input good sir.
