Answer: Bow deploys caltrops faster than Xbow (feels better). Caltrops depends on the 2hander attack speed. Xbow will do about 1.5% more dmg if you want to use that instead. 2) Is X'fals worth in this build? No. Andy's won't proc x'fals and therefore x'fals won't proc enough to make it worth using over a legendary ring. 3) Can you use dmg % instead of dmg over time %? Yes, dmg % will add equal amount of dmg as dmg over time % b/c dmg % is currently bugged for dots and giving 2x its value. 4) Can you use this without Andy's Helm? No. 5) Can you use starless skies? You can, though IMO not worth using over regular ring. You will gain maybe 5% more dmg if you are comparing a ring w/ elements to starless, but it is inconsistent and you will lose survival/mobility. 6) Can you use doombringer? You can if you want more survival (good for hardcore). It is is pretty big DPS loss however. 7) Can we use Devious instead of Chip? No, devious dmg % increase does not work on bosses, chip dmg increase does work on bosses. 8) Why do you use bursting venoms? Bursting venoms has a chance to proc andariel's visage along with all of your CC % tempers. 9) What could I use instead of inner calm, I don't like standing still? Use elements instead. 10) What should I put on my amulet? Frigid is a must have. After that, malice, exploit, dex % and LHC % are all roughly equal. 11) Does Dex scale Andy Dmg... the tooltip says "skill dmg"? Yes, dex scales Andy Dmg (and all flat damage) since the start of Season 4 change. The tooltip needs to be updated. 12) Can Andy's Proc "X"? No. Andariel's poison nova does not have lucky hit chance and therefore can't proc other procs. This is true in general that procs can't proc other procs except for bursting venoms, which does have a lucky hit chance currently. 13) Why does the boss health look like it is going up sometimes/poison ticks ignored? Server lag. You will get small tick(s) followed by a big tick, which is just catching the damage up. 14) How do you get Dark Shroud orbs around you without putting Dark Shroud on your bar? The umbrous aspect does this for us.

@@bosendorfer6268 giving up the tempering(s) on the ring(s) is pretty rough. I could see maybe one unique ring being better, but not both.

@@bosendorfer6268 xfal is better for fast clearing, but starless isn't better, you get 30% more dmg from inner calm and the crowd control tempering gives you about 9,5% more dmg because the close quarters combat passive and other temper, and you get all the stats you want on the leg ring like life dex over the core dmg and and crit dmg starless gives that are useless.

I’m an absolute Rogue noob, so I appreciate all the explanations so I can grasp the build. After the game grants me an Andy every season as first Uber Unique drop (also this time, first non Tormented Andariel dropped it), the game pushes me into utilising it, I reckon. I used in my Blizzard Sorc last Season to get another Tal Rasha Stack but with Tempering and the new cap of 4 stack it isn’t worth it, so I made a Rogue (for tempering Crit damage). Now I’ve stumbled across this and as Rogue noob, I needed help. Well. I used the starter build and threw in some Uniques until I got ok gear and it’s absurdly good even in my hands. Had a very underleveled friend with me in various NMDs to level the glyphs, and 3 times Butcher with 15 level above me, and increased life due to my friend in the party. My friend when he saw the dot damage building up: „Butcher is doomed“. Same second he dropped dead. Thank you for the build a lot, also because I prefer melee builds and didn’t want to play Heartseeker. ❤

@@ferologics I had the same drop, I was with a level 100 who carried me in a Duriel run 2x... as I gave him a very rare neckless for free as he was getting bullied in TRADE chat. He went in with me and we did the capstone to T4 and we went and did 2 Duriel runs, I didn't even realize it, when I checked my inventory there she was... Andariel's Visage at level 42, and normal Duriel... BUT that is not all. *(yes I have like 5 alts) but did a a Sorc run for some mats and bang in a Pit run got another one... :)

Melts Lilith Melts Uber Bosses Farming Pit 60 I set up the build in half a day with some bricked items I had from RF and had 4/12 items but still worked. At first I had problems understanding the mechanic/rotations from the video. But in order to cheese bosses Caltrops is mandatory. I did not understand that so well from the video that this is the number 1 priority. Deploy Caltrops and wait to proc. Thank you for the build Xarrio. Ranged build were not a fit for a console player/controller like me. This works better than RF/PS.

@Xarrio -- So I switched out "Bursting Venoms" and " Noxious Ice" and put "Icy Alchemist" on Amulet, and "Toxic Alchemist" on 1HDagger as well as tempered two equipment pieces with +2 Shadow hits. Fully masterworked to lvl 12 and I now have +11 Shadow hits. I basically followed your Optomized build to a TEE and loved it. But with these two changes my DMG is insanely higher. I don't know the exact numbers differrrence but I can tell you it's a 10 lvl pit difference for me. Things freeze and explode so much faster because every cast is Shadow Imbued and then the Shadow cool down is up and I'm able to repeat. I do keep Dash and Shadow Step over the Poison Traps as well, as I feel it's just another option for getting the Shadow damage on the mob. Be honored for your feed back on this. Thanks for your amazing "NON COOKIE CUTTER" builds. I hate doing the next best OP build every Season or patch. This is my favorite build to date!

Interesting idea... the shadow imbue on ring can be a nice quality of life choice. However, I'm not seein noxious ice/icy alch as a net positive. You should be able to freeze instantly w/ a freeze temper + shared misery. If you don't have those, and instead are now freezing w/ noxious ice, then I could see it being helpful, but it shouldn't be needed. I feel like your idea would only be worth if you are just spamming your core skill w/ shadow imbue and wanted to make a build around that.

@@Xarrio I am using shared misery on my gloves, and have two tempers on items with lucky hit, chance to freeze. I do see what your saying which is why I respect your feed back. I don't fully understand the mechanics of everything at the level you do. Although I wouldn't say I spam my core skill "Flurry" I will say it's almost every 3-5 seconds when I'm at 3 combo points. Rotation = Spam puncture, three combo points Flurry, ( initiate attack speed and shadow imbue, Shadow step in, caltrops instantly Dash out back through mobs, and spam Puncture and Flurry every 3 combo points. I guess initially I saw the icy, 100[x] if already frozen from the shared misery, and the toxic 100[x] if already poisoned, from the pestilent points and puncture casting twice temper, AV always procing they'd always be poisoned.

Great build! I think finishing the pit (level max) it's not an obligation. When you can kill all the bosses, quickly or slowly, that's a good start. And frankly, getting through level 100 of the pit with a fun build is great. Thanks a lot!

Legit. With the patch today (I only changed to this build a few days ago), I could kill lilith in 1 shot phase one, and i solo'd her for the first time this season. Thank you so much for all the hard work you put into every aspect of this game. I've been following you since season one with an you're in-depth breakdowns on stats. You inspired me to try rogue for the 1st time this season, and I think it's become my favorite class. Id also like to thank the state of sorcerer being so bad because that's what I started with 😆 This build is so unique and may not be as strong as the other top builds, but with the patch buffs, it might be very close!

This build is super sick - I haven't really played rogue at all since season 1 icy alch TB till this season because every build feels kinda just slow and clunky (even Heartseeker is a little guilty of this, although it's far better than most other alternatives). My goal now is to try and ditch Flurry by just overgearing because I'm extremely alergic to combo points and just generator/spender playstyle in general, even if it becomes slightly less efficient in the process that's a sacrifice I'm more than willing to make. Thank you for the time you've spent on this and for your contributions when it comes to rogue math in general. It is appreciated.

I somehow got 3 Andariel's in 1 week just running some Duriels with friends (most of the runs weren't even tormented) and 2 of them rolled 1GA, 1 went into Life steal and the other into Attack Speed, I broke down the 3rd with no GA. Since i dont have andariel's yet, I used Unique ring that also gives poison novas on lucky hit. Managed to solo Duriel without visage, using Poison Imbuement onstead Caltrops. Not the best dmg, but its honest work and a good start while farming Visage.

Run this every season, with a few changes on board and gear , I prefer even less defensive options for more dps. Andy is always under appreciated, also life steal and life per second are being slept on right now. I get 50k life per second right now , it's insane .

Fun Fact, was playing a Sorc and at level 45 did a normal (not tormented) Duriel run with a guy who I had met and we helped each other a bit... long story. However, I didn't even realize it at first but found a Andariel Helmet in my inventory (Shocked as I was)... I tried it on my Sorc and It was not good enough as I was running SNOW-BALLS as I call the built. Now, I had a Rogue at level 49ish and (no it was not the heartseeker) it wasn't taking off... guess what, I went back to an old built and used the Andariel and Poison built from Season 2... man oh man. Then I saw Wudijo's built and modified a bit and oh dear God.... what a nice thing. Now there is a little trick with the Goblins, listen, do yourself a favor. Go and (if this is a second or third toon) and have your highest toon farm GOBLIN BAGS. Stach them at T4... keep them all, all that 925 GEAR, will kickstart your NEW ROGUE or any other character at level 55 when you go T3 or T4 and all decked out with 925 gear. Yes the Andariel Helmet is at 35, so yes you going to be rolling it. The built is FUN FUN FUN

What's interesting is that this build is HIGHLY similar to one I built myself. Multiple CC procs, high lucky hit, shadow/poison stuff, the only difference is I use TB instead of flurry and using victimize for the huge burst damage. Yours is much more optimized than mine, i can only push 70 on pit atm. So I'm wondering if those 2 changes really makes that crazy of a difference

Thank you for the build! I’m about to get my 1st Uber and it’s going to be Andariel just to run this build. HS rogue is OP and all but it’s so boring IMO this was much needed!

Looks pretty cool. I do I have the unique helm but unfortunately I just switched to heartseeker. Definitely have to remember this if heartseeker gets nerfed.
