I always assume this is why most streamers play in percentages. Can never tell if they fighting a fresh pvp player, or a full decked out one unless you start doing the math yourself adding all the dmg done by them.

I miss this. Back during wotlk days my server was heavily alliance and would always bully us horde, constantly raiding org. One time they ignored me while killing boss and I solo wiped them after spamming seed about 10 times lmao. Most satisfying lag ever.

But that's just it. Good melee DPS doesn't just allow Arcane Mages to free cast. Instead you get interrupted, silenced, stuned, ect., and have to rely on insta-casts on the move. My favorite was always the Greater Pyro Blasts, and watching the slow-moving nuclear bomb.

Just need your hotkeys set up correctly in a way that you can reach all buttons EASILY and remember which abilities are where ect. The mouse (any of them with many buttons) is just an extension of the keyboard at the end of the day. I think the issue is more like, the people who DON'T EVEN USE THEIR KEYBOARD properly and CLICK abilities? :P

played arcane mage in wotlk, was insane.

During WOLK frost was meta pvp and fire was second pvp. PvE arcane was strong with minimal gear but arcane blasting fishing for mistle barrage or hitting arcane barrage to reset your stacks is far from "insane" unless you mean insanely boring. PvE once you get TOGC and ICC geared fire is insanely good specially with the ICC 30% buff made fire the only spec someone with 4 piece blood mage set rocking spellfire tailoring 264 Ilvl BoE pants should ever use. Did you even mage bro?
