Why wouldn't I just run Pachirisu ex with Pikachu ex? It seems like a good option to force early tempo just as I would with Pikachu ex.

This! Assuming we're still capped at 20 cards, I don't see that changing any time soon, these tool cards will take up precious space. You're not guaranteed to get the perfect Pachirisu ex set up with how RNG this game is. The two will complement each other very well.

My thoughts exactly, I see easily Pachirisu X2 with X1 Pikachu since the new tool cards will take place of basic Pokemon making Pikachu less reliable but still good

I would just run Pachirisu in place of where you would normally run Zapdos. unless they introduce more than one pokemon tool that works with it then i doubt it'll chance the current deck list too much

Galvantula is quite an under rated card. It blocking the opponent pokemon from retreating is great.

Pikachus benefit over Pachirisu is going to be against the Mew matchup, since the mew could easily add a tool to itself and do 80 back to you. Good reason to try and run both when mew stays relevant

Thanks for this list! Definitely an interesting variation. Regarding Pachirisu: I agree, it might replace Pikachu. However, I think it depends largely on the available Pokemon tools for Pachirisu to be successful. I think, Pachirsu also potentially allows also non-electric type Pkm to find their way into electric Decks, tech cards like Mew for example.

i think dedennee is bad because you can have so much other good electrik type like the pokeball pokemon and the raichu ( 140 dmg is good if pika can't beat any high hp pokemon ( celebi ), i think pachirisu will be played with the pika

Well the thing is ,pikachu is viable with 3 bench pokemon on a 20 card, of which 10 or more are pokemon and you have pokebals as well. How many tools must we put for pachirisu to be consistent?? I'm seeing that brick coming a mile way if it's just 2 cards lol

I think zapdos might get replaced for pachirisu but it depends on how good the tools are

Nice video 💪🏻💪🏻 I ran a very similar setup, switching one Dedenne with Zapdos. A cheap tank with late game gamba option Love Galvantula ❤ it’s a great deterrence that’ll keep the smart opponents guessing, and trap the sloppy newbies. Hopefully it’ll shine even more with the new, powerful lightning pokemons ⚡️⚡️

Tools will be interesting! +10 dmg kinda outshines gio being tool over supporter but they can be paired soo it wouldnt make Gio flat dead in the water , also a retreat tool can only place one soo that wouldn't make x-speed dead either! my thoughts is Tools like dmg or hp will be specific to Type or evolutions , + dmg against Ex's sorta thing

Why would I run just this alone? It's a basic , so you can easily run this with Pikachu. I think Pachi was meant to run with Pikachu, as a early game attacker, while you build Pikachu on the bench to clean up. Or, if you get Pikachu first with no tool, you can lead with Pikachu and have pachi on the bench to pivot into when Pikachu is weak.

Discord server lets gooo. in the pika-striker variant that is popular now. I like pachirisu as a replacement to the Electrabuzz, replacing potions for the tool of choice hoping for Focus Sash. 120 HP is fairly fragile as far as EX battles go.
