He was such a maestro in midfield! Put a good defensive midfielder behind him and give him some half decent forwards and he will create at least 5 chances per game. He was such an incredible passer and to add to that he was a great reader of the game, so good at anticipating what's going on, had such a great vision and was the king of keeping possession. He was the one who used to control Barça's midfield and there was so much more to his game than just passing, the way he used to read the runs of his own teammates, the way he used to read his opponent's positioning and the way he used to provide defence splitting through balls time and time again was a joy to watch. Thanks for all the great memories Xavi!
