That is ASTOUNDING! There just is no other word for music so beautifully played. That's a very difficult piece. I've played just the harp part with an orchestra, and that's fun enough!

It's a new Lyon & Healy 23, gold. I doubt Vienna would hire a powerful sounding harpist. His tone isn't bad, but there is the potential for more sound and color in a harp than he is producing with a light, fast touch. He is certainly an extremely good young harpist, but you should hear Alice Giles or Judy Loman perform for a broader perspective, in my opinion. I know quite a few superb harpists. The best I've heard/seen is Heidi Lehwalder, beyond all.

@capiem I believe everyone has the right to comment on something even if they can't really do it... for example, not everyone is the president but everyone seems to criticize him all the time. I personally think this is a wonderful performance, but at times there are mistakes he made (though not obvious to an untrained ear).

Shallow tone?This guy is Vienna Phil principal hp;maybe the harp(Asia concert?Aoyama harp?),maybe the concert hall.Anyway,just my opinion here,Xavier is the greatest harp performer nowadays,an absolute artist beyond sheer technique

Very clean and clear, but a shallow tone quality that could use more body. I never heard this arrangement by Trnecek performed before, and didn't think it could be effective, but de Maistre has convinced me it might be worth learning.

I got a chance to going his concert in Japan.I had biggest mistake that my cell phone alarm beep during he plays this Moldau. . . I apologized him soooooo much after his concert.He joked around about that BUT I still wanna kill myself even 4 years past or I will never forget well, I should remember it forever. 本当にごめんなさい…… 私は最低な人間です。

Well, it's a good point that it may have been by choice, but since you don't know me, you can't assume I'm any kind of wannabe or lesser anything. Nevertheless, I don't like that tone quality. I would not call it full-bodied, which even a pianissimo can be. Go listen to Alice Giles, she's on KZbin.

What does older have to do with it? The crazy piece she is playing is not really a good example of Judy Loman's tone, which is quite good.
