Hi Xavier, Brilliant reaction to this most unlikely duet !! Victor was competing in this Chinese rap competition and like Singer contest they have "Duet week" Victor asked Dimash if he would sing with him and they came up with this amazing arrangement of a beautiful song ... Hua was one of the judges and Victor went on to win. 👍👍👍😊

Thing is with song is that Victor Ma is showing more aggression, where as Dimash is showing more compassion. The performance was yin and yang. As for the music itself, I love the combination of rock, rap, opera and classical. As talent, Dimash had the upper hand with his high notes and versatile like you said. What makes Dimash unique is that he can adapt. He did this same song with singer Coco Lee which also was a shocker for me. By the way, I like youit input as well.

This competition was held in China in 2018. The gentle voice of Dimash was combined with the brutal rap of Victor. This duet produced protuberance of energy. You noticed Hua Chenyu, he was invited to the jury, he voted for Victor's rap. Unfortunately, two girls in the jury (they are in the video) could not appreciate this wonderful duet and gave their votes to another rapper and his partner.

I read a while ago that in this Chinese rap competition the rappers had to rap with singers, that Victor asked Dimash, and Hua Chenyu also sang w/a rapper. Wow, I wish we could see the whole competition. After this video was released, there were lots of people posting & saying Victor Ma won after Dimash performed with him.
