thanks for video. dinle is my favourite also. your top10 list is so much like mine top10. turkey didn't send best singers to eurovision because unfair vote system could damage their domestic reputation. but eventually they manage to deliver some good songs and get some good results.

In the first years, Türkiye sent some wrong people because it did not fully understand that the competition was global. But there were also really good singers and bands among them. They got better results when they started including local melodies and English lyrics. But if you watched this contest carefully, there were also political votes. For example, neighboring countries always gave the highest scores to each other.

I'm sure compassionate reactions like this are helping in healing a part of our people's broken feelings regarding our history in eurovision. It helps to know we are recognized for our efforts that didn't pay off back in the time. And I know that our people are more than ready to make a comeback but the inflammation in our economy is so hard for our government to handle and they're(the leaders) trying their best to ruin our people's money and country by using them for themselves and not giving it to places that needs to be given. I'm sure they'll think spending any money to join eurovision and send singers(which costs money) would be a waste because they're greedy to get the money for themselves. They should've rejoined eurovision this year to appease the people and fixed their ways in handling the country but no, they're hell bent on getting voted out in next selection. They're on their last legs, our people won't vote for them anymore, at least I hope they won't. I want a new leader that can fix our country and then lets us join eurovision again. 😢❤

Before 1998, Turkey got low scores because the juries gave the points. Eurovision switched to public voting in 1998. After the public vote, Turkey's ranking hovered between medium and high. In 2012, Eurovision switched to 50% public and 50% jury voting. Turkey then left the contest. Even though I don't support the government in Turkey, I understand their decision. For example, in 2024, the public voted Croatia first, but Switzerland won with politicized jury votes.
