Xawery Wolski, Sculpture Park in Dańków

In the new episode of the artim film series, Xawery Wolski gives a tour of the family estate in Dańków. In this unique place, the artist gathered a collection of his own sculptures created at different moments in his life. Together with Jarosław Lubiak, they present the concept of a sculpture park. The artist discusses the history of his own family and how the agricultural work of his ancestors influenced his art.
Xawery Wolski's artistic language is based on reflection on time and space. His works are made of natural materials such as earth, baked clay, bronze, and stone. In the years 1994 to 2021, he lived and worked in Mexico. Xawery Wolski has exhibited works in various prestigious venues, including the Liu Haisu Art Museum in Shanghai, China; Jim Thompson Arts Center in Bangkok, Thailand; the Galeri Nasional Indonesia in Jakarta, Indonesia; the Zachęta National Gallery of Art in Warsaw, Poland; and in Mexico City at the Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil, Museo Tamayo, Museo de Arte Moderno, and Museo Nacional de Arte.
