Nice work Graham. I appreciate the philosophy if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Too many people just tear a car apart for no good reason at all. Great job Graham very enjoyable. 👌👍

Mate, Jason(Mk2 Jase) and I did his hardtop, both sides inside and outer sill panels. That small hole you pointed out at the rear is exactly what I used to line up the new outer sill. No wonder Jason said it was 10mm out when he put rear wheel arch repair panel in! Only with experience and past knowledge would we have known this. Good job mate, your experience in doing these older falcons and pointing out the finer details are a great help to novices like me( & Jason).

A mate of Peter Andy's in Canada, Scott at Coldwarmotors has built a coupe Plymouth using the floorpan and sills from a Plymouth sedan that was in mint condition. The Coupe is extremely rare and was a basket case after sitting on its belly in a paddock for about 20 years. It's now a showroom piece and Scotty has done brilliantly. Scott is a great craftsman, I only follow the best!😉

was wondering when you would pop up lol works more important than us out here graham your right about the repair panels just not cost effective to do small runs of section or panels for few cars i would love to have got a nos floor pan for mine back in the late 70's a guy had 6 complete floorsbe nice if we had the same avaliable like they do for the 55.56.57 chevys

It’s hard luck for the coupes, parts wise. It’s also lucky that the restoration market for xy’s became so large and showed the manufacturers that there is a market for the 1st-3rd gen Falcon’s. I have a vh commo(the red headed step child of my all blue oval garage) and I’m really not looking forward to getting started on that. Even getting relatively easy stuff has been hard throughout the 11years I’ve been accumulating parts for it.

Question. How similar in design is the Ford Torino, which the Falcon coupe draws many design cues from?
