I remember getting the black Elite model as a teenager and thinking that the 120 gb drive was fucking massive. Games like Red Dead or Doom Eternal are nearly or even over 100 gb now. Times were so much simpler.

HD-DVD was sold separately, but the console could play standard DVDs. PS3 had Blu-Ray.

On the plus side though the batteries in 360 controllers are replacable. PS3 controllers eventually quit holding a charge
