Xbox 360 Promotional Copy Games

Im an original Xbox guy now getting into collecting 360/ps3 titles. This week picked up my horse and me 2, and shattered dimensions promo copy sealed. This video helped me greatly, thanks man! (Also picked up Ducktales remastered ps3, man that is an awesome remake)

As far as I know; any game released in a bundle with a yellow banner was always labelled as a "BUNDLE COPY" instead of a "PROMOTIONAL COPY". I wish there was more info on how many of these were printed on average. I can't find anything. Some games are massively overprinted and there's hundreds of sealed copies on ebay at any given time- and other games never come up for sale and are almost impossible to find.

I just bought a few original Xbox promotional games one has a typo misprint saying promotional copy not for rescale instead of resale have you ever seen that?

Yeah I'd imagine those would be a nightmare to come across. Theres some pre release discs that are pretty well sought after as well from what I see. I think I'll put some research time into those and see if I can put together a video in the future :)

I beta tested 'Just Cause 2' and it also game as a promo copy box. Along with a reporting guide instead of the instruction manual.

My friends dad used to work at Microsoft and he kept being given promotional copy’s for games that weren’t released yet or ever released in bundles, naruto rise of a ninja and far cry, and if a promotional copy is sealed it should effect price?

Wow! Would your friend be able to send any photos into my Discord server? Promo copies of games/prereleases are so hard to get info on so something like that would be awesome! I think sealed games will always have a higher price than non sealed. Xbox 360 however doesn't quite have the collector community yet to make that price a huge difference. In the future though, my guess is that sealed promo copies of games will be HIGHLY collectable

I think they dont always give a manual in these games even if the normal release has one. but I'm not sure. can somebody confirm?

Thats true. Most of promotional versions do not includes manual in box.

Quick question Harry, do you collect the bundle copy of 2 games in one jewel case that usually come bundle with the original Xbox 360 consoles? e.g. Lego Batman with Pure, Viva Pinata with Forza Motorsport 2 etc

@@HarryAtomic neither had I till I bought that one in Cex. Just like the ones you descibed, big yellow band across the front with the black text and dull print. Jericho has always been a polarizing title but feck it... nice addition to my collection. Anyhoo, love the videos bro, keep em coming!

The more I see of these bundle copies, the more I want to collect some more of them. Halo 3 was such a huge release that a bundle copy of it sounds awesome! 😃
