Most of these games already have 2025 release windows/dates. Doom The Dark Ages, South of Midnight, Fable, Avowed, and Outer Worlds 2 are already confirmed for 2025. However, Gears E-Day release date in December 2025 was rumored by Dirt Griggity(Doo Doo Jenkins) but *not confirmed* and Oblivion remake is rumored to release in August 2025 but *not confirmed* . Dirt Griggity's source has been reliable though, he got MvC Collection to Xbox announcement correct and the exact Xbox games going multiplat so far. But ofc things change

I'm so excited for the oblivion remake. It supposed is running 2 engines at once, UE5 for the graphics, and the original Gamebryro English that the original game runs on. I think from a technical standpoint, I'm interested in how that is going to play out. I play on xbox, so i don't really focus on the in-depth technical stuff, but running 2 different engines sounds interesting to experience. That is if it isn't a false rumor

1:06 There may be even more games dropping in 2025 from Xbox Game Studios than listed, including Towerborne, Perfect Dark, State of Decay 3 and Clockwork Revolution. But they have no confirmed release date, yet.

I'm weary of perfect dark releasing in 2025 though...I'm weary about it being released this generation at all but that would be awesome. Actually, not really confident in any of these releasing in 2025 except TowerBorne because it's on PC early access for awhile now I think. I remember in some interviews they said they wanted to release a big game every 3 months I think...they have this covered already even before adding any of the games listed here with obsidian releasing 2 rpgs and then we have fable....South of midnight..etc etc... So that might be a reason they do some in 2026. But idk at all just guessing

Microsoft is putting in the work, you cant deny that they do not have the best lineup of games, you cannot deny that they have the the best value either. Console warriors will hate, but new gamers or gamers that are finally going into this gen may not be able to pass on it! It will be a very interesting year!

What's interesting also is that all of the playstation hyperfans have played Indiana Jones on Xbox or PC or gamepass or multiples or these options. They go from intensive detraction of Xbox to playing games from the opposite platform from the playstation actually on the Xbox and are not called out for it by there fanbase but when a playstation fan moves to try Xbox he is attacked and harassed as previously covered. When every playstation hyperfan can freely play Xbox games on the Xbox platform and not be critiqued by their fanbase it puts their entire stance and validity in question.

Its totally insane, people going on about xbox losing exclusives.... everyone of them is already on PC, and if these "hyper" fans where smart, instead of waiting and spending $70 each game, they could get gamepass on PC or if they dont have a pc get gamepass and just stream the games

Because that cognitive dissonance doesn't affect them. The general public position has always been Playstation number 1, Xbox always number 2. Even for people who don't play games, this is like a basic assumption everyone makes. People aren't smart and a lot of em operate on vibes alone. You read the name Playstation, and you think as a normie "yep, that's where everyone plays games" and all the other beliefs and assumptions stem from that first assumption. That's why a game coming to Playstation from Xbox is considered a Win by game journos and the reverse is considered a loss. They're the second rate company, why should they get the exclusives, see what I mean? The Xbox Tax has always existed

@nachro2190 These days game journalists integrity has already been revealed to be a façade across the board resulting in dropping engagement and Ziff Davis losing money. I think it was 10% on the last update. KZbin now has a greater reach than the media outlets. However playstation still has to keep paying these outlets for the preferential treatment which is again money that should be being utilised for games rather than propaganda. Sooner or later the bough has to break and playstation will have to stop using funds in that direction which will then spiral further decline of these "game journalism" businesses.

Xbox needs 4 games, 5 tops a year and I would be cool with 3 a year. But 4 is perfect. 1 AAA title, 1 indie style game, 1 local multiplayer game, and 1 online game all into Gamepass, with them doing that they should add 4 games into Gamepass as well so it's technically 8 games or more a year into Gamepass.

Gear of war will be really unlikely for 2025. Fable is still uncertain. I think whats holding back companies for 2025 right now is the GTA launch window which is still unclear. Fable big maybe end of 2025 if they can avoid gta window.

Oblivion remake. Just a rumor rn. Might or might not happen. Imho 60% chance it will happen. Gears e day. Imho Xbox will want to hold this back as a launch title for the new console. So 2026 seems more likely to me. The rest of it looks pretty solid for next year.

Eday should never see the light of day until the handheld or next gen is close by. Halo gears and Forza should actually be pushed back until the next console. Remake halo for now, gears eday deserves 8 years of development. Forza is perfect Imo.

I have said it many years now that PlayStation has been wasting money on keeping third-party games from Xbox. Why they didn't they use that money on creating new games and IP is a mystery to me. 🤷‍♀️
