Same here. It was so surreal to play a game within a game at the time, especially the original trilogy released on the NES. The soundtrack is so memorable too. The ice cavern stage soundtrack was my favorite.

One of the best game ever produced and clearly the best of its kind. Kratos, Bayonetta, DevilCry, the'y great, but this is on a completely different level. Sadly the sequels were nothing like it. It is a one-hit wonder. But a truly wonderful one.

I swear the demo ended when you got to that nunchuck guy. You didn't even get to fight him. I don't remember that purple haired girl so it must've ended before you fought him. Speaking of her, I had no idea Ayane from Dead or Alive was from this game.

If I remember correctly, it is only unlocked after having completed the game once first, then restarting again from that point, rather than starting a new game. Either that, or completing it in easy, medium and hard first, then you unlock it when you reach that point in master ninja mode.
