Xbox One - PIKUNIKU - Dancing Machine - 100% score against the dance king

As there was no video of this being done on Xbox One, I thought I'd share this.
If you make a mistake be sure to quit to Dashboard BEFORE YOU REACH THEN END OF THE DANCE SEQUENCE - Quit, launch another game, then quit that and re-launch PikuNiku, you'll then be in the club BEFORE the dance battle begins!

I’m a rhythm gamer and I got this on my first try. It’s not so much a brag but it’s more so very interesting how different we all are and how we’re all good at many different things. I always restart my playthroughs after I’m done this game just to go back and play this again!

FINALLY GOT IT! I sat in front of this video with a controller for about 20 minutes to practice beforehand. Really helped the muscle memory out. On one run, I missed the last Y. The shout of "FUCK!" could be heard for miles around.

Hahahaha!!! Oh I feel your pain with that last Y - my controller nearly met a very undignified end!! Good on you for not giving up and HUGE congrats on FINALLY getting it! I'm sure the cries of "YESSS YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS"!!!!! were off the scale too!

@@threetreetown I settled for vigorous fistpumping instead followed by an awkward yet exuberant dance, as I didn't want to traumatize the cats any further. I think the wild gyrating still made them uneasy, though.

Okay after many many many many tries I finally got it. For me, the issue was that I was inconsistent with the tapping at the end, and realized the music was the issue. As catchy as it is, the ending music ramps up and confuses me to go faster when I don’t have to. I turned the volume all the way down, and after a few more tries I got it. Try turning off the volume if you go to fast or slow, it might help!!

I think this could work for mobile rhythm games, too, since you can turn off the bgm for the gameplay part, but keep the tap sounds. I might have to do this.

My best advice if you're REALLY struggling to get this is...get a willing friend (preferably one who has good rhythm) to do the Y and B while you do the X and A - at the end the AYAYAYAYAYA etc part have just one of you do that, using your pointing fingers from each hand and you just need to get the timing right - good luck guys

To get through this segment, I had to hold the controller diagonally and use both thumbs! Really strange setup, but it worked. Still haven’t gone back to 100% it, but 87% isn’t too shabby.
