The resolution on this machine is fantastic. No KZbin video can show you just how great the difference is. It’s crisp beyond belief. I got my X with AC Origins and after playing for over 15 hours on it I decided to load up the game on my Old Xbox and seriously... the game looked like a muddy blurry pile of actual shit. I could never go back to 1080p after 4K now. It’s like my eyes have been opened. If you have a 4K tv and and are on the fence about upgrading then trust me you will NOT regret it. Playing games on standard HD from now on is just an insult to your eyes and the devs who make these amazing looking games. 9/10 from me. If this thing had at least a 2TB hard drive I’d scream 10/10 from the 4K heavens. Though you can pick up 1TB hard drives quite cheap these days anyway. Screw it. 10 out of mother fucking 10.

You really shouldn’t have just glossed over the storage space. Some of the 4K updates are taking file sizes over 100GB, all are over 70GB and most seem to be sitting around 80-90GB. It’s a given of course, but I really think as a channel that a lot of people watch you needed to make that clearer.

For me, the whole console experience is overall better. Most of my friends don’t even own a good enough pc to play the games I can play on mine. I would much rather chill on my couch and play games and laugh with my friends than play pc in a chair sitting 2 ft away from a monitor. The whole thing of just relaxing and playing games is more convenient on console. This is just my opinion, I’m not here to pick fights, but I would prefer this over a pc.

2 problems here 1- You can just connect your pc to your tv using an hdmi cord so you don't have to use a monitor. 2- Unless you're talking about the switch here, then what you're saying holds little water. Consoles just don't care about couch co op these days. Yet, for whatever reason a lot indy games happen to support couch co op on pc. Guess online co op is just too hard for most indie devs. It's OK to have and express your opinion GMatt, but when it's uninformed you're just opening yourself to criticism. I don't mean to be rude, but I can only handle so many "I don't wants to game on a tiny table monitor using unconfertable k\m I wants conphy controller couch" so many times before starting to get annoyed. I've had a PS3 for ages now and am upgrading. I chose to jump ship to Xbox One X for three main reasons. Extended controller battery life, hardware and performance, and usability (i.e. remote play on suitable devices and able to play older games without extra cost). Gabriel Boria Stop spreading misinformation. It can't do 1080p 60 because the CPU is a huge bottleneck as evident by the frame rate in SOW, ACO and ROTRR. It can do 60 fps on very linear games at most like gow 4, but even that drops frames according to DF.

It can do 4k 30 or 1080p 60 in like *2 games*. Tomb Raider and Gears of War 4. And the 60FPS doesn't hold either. If the game runs at 30FPS on X1 it's more than likely going to do 30FPS on X1X. If it does 60 on X1, then it's probably going to do 60 on X1X. Open world games are totally out of the question too thanks to that weak CPU.

Really am loving my Xbone X at the moment. WWII at a fairly steady 4K 60 with HDR is definitely one of the best gaming experiences I've had in a hot minute. Okay so I’ve owned every iteration of the Xbox since the very first. I also own a ps3 and PS4. So here’s what I think, and bare in mind I stated the above as a basis for not being biased. The Xbox one X is an absolutely phenomenal piece of hardware! I’ve noticed a significant jump from the one S to the one X in terms of load times, which seem almost nil in comparison. I’m not sure if it’s got a bigger NIC but it seems to download a lot faster than any previous console. As for graphics you can definitely tell a significant level of crispness to games running in 30fps as well as 360 games. For instance I was playing skate 3 and it appears to upscale to nearly 4K quality, the textures seem smoother, the lighting looks more realistic even the game itself seems to run smoother. I do have some games that’s are enhanced for the one X like Forza 7 and Battlefront II and they look incredible! Now I am on an LG 58” UHD 4K, BUT it doesn’t run HDR. Still even without the HDR support these games look a lot better and play better on the one X. I have noticed some minor glitching with apps like Netflix or even starting a game but it’s only happened a couple of times and it wasn’t anything really worth getting excited over. I just felt the need to mention there may be some bugs but I think this console is powerful enough to overcome them.

Got to open my Christmas presents almost 2 weeks early this year 😂, I got an Xbox One X and it is AMAZING. Every game I had on the original, I installed quickly to my X, and it upscaled everygame I installed. COD WW2 is amazing and beautiful. Fortnite is gorgeous for a cartoony game. And all the other games I installed run amazingly in smooth 60 fps and an upscaled 1080p or 4k on my 4k TV. I'm so grateful I got what I wanted this year😃.

It really gets pretty annoying to read the same noisy INVALID arguments against the Xbox one X everyday: 1* "It has no games" - It has tons of games. 3rd party titles will look, play and perform better than any other console - All previous xbox consoles games from backwards compatibility, improved on visuals and framerate. (other consoles offer limited selection of ports you have to pay again) - Execellent 1st party titles: Forza 7 Forza H3, Gears 4, Killer instinct, Halo 5, Cuphead... 2* "It has no exclusives, they can also be played on PC" - That doesn't take them away from X1X. - If you don't have a Powerful enough PC, that doesn't benefit you - You would need to pay more money for a PC to get the same experience (minus HDR and 4k Blu-Ray) - If you already have a powerful enough PC, you don't even need to discuss about X1X, It should be irrelevant to you. 3* "PS4 has lots of exclusives" - That is only good if you actually like those exclusives, otherwise, is irrelevant - Buying a console you don't like or is not the best, just to play 1-3 exclusives is not something i would consider worth - PS4 exclusives can be played on PC with PS NOW, so, we could argue "it has no games, because I can play them on PC" too. 4- "It has no new games" - Forza 7 and Cuphead just recently launched. PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds comes December, Crackdown 3, State of Decay 2, Sea of Thieves, Ori and the will of wisps, and Halo 6 will launch next year. Along with each major 3rd party game from now on... - There are more games on the way... The difference with Sony is that they announce a game 2 years before it launches. Microsoft announces a new games much closer to it's release (3 months) 5* "many games will only run at 30fps" - Console gamers have always played many games at 30fps and they enjoy the games without thinking much about it, because, unlike the PC gamers, they are not measuring the framerate every second. - Many X1X games give the option of Upscaled 1080p at 60fps - If you already have a powerful enough PC that runs all games at 4k/60fps, you don't even need to discuss about X1X, It should be irrelevant to you. The bottom line is: You like what X1X has and buy it, or you don't like it and just ignore it. To keep arguing everywhere about how much you consider the console not worth is meaningless. You won't convince those who already decided for it.

Backwards compatibility on better hardware does not automatically improve visuals or frame rate, like on pc. The developers need to release a patch for it happen, even for such a small thing like hdr, and I hardly expect them to do it for shits and giggles. So mass effect or the witcher 2 will still run at 720p 30fps. Also, 60fps is not a modern thing, let alone a future thing, is a retro thing, gamecube run all of its library at 60fps, and most of ps2 / xbox games did as well, but somewhere along the way they got greedy and lazy and customers got oblivious and stupid enough to take it.

I don't know the link but once your given the link you'll definitely see the many exclusive that have super high good ratings compared to the very few xbox has. Rosencrantz On paper it looks convincing, however, most of those games on that list are arcades, DLCs and remastered versions of previous games opposed to the Xbox list, which you didn’t add Arcades, DLCs etc that did pretty good, which already points out your biased views. Being on a 1080p Set still, I have loved the improvements I have seen in games with my Xbox One X. I do have a gaming PC, and have seen myself drifting over to PC more and more recently because of how crisp games look, and how much smoother they run, even in 1080p. And so far, Im getting the same crispness and smoothness from the Xbox One X. Playing Battlefront 2 on my Xbox One S on Thursday, then Friday I got my Xbox One X, and started seeing more details that I didnt see the day before in Battlefront 2. The same goes for CoD WW2 and Battlefield 1. Also with Gears 4, I opted to play the Horde Mode on PC when I got my PC this summer, however now with the ability to run it at 1080p 60fps on my Xbox One X, I would rather go play it there. Its not a matter if Developers will support the power of the One X or not, because more often than not they will by default. What people dont realize is that nowadays more games are built for PC, and then dumbed down to for consoles, and more power on the Xbox One X means less dumbing down, which means games will look better by default.

Maybe no one will read this, but really, are you really going to let companies do this to you? Remember when you bought a console and you dont need to buy another for at least 7 years? I'm a PC gamer, all my life i played on pC, but really, things like this just are stupid for me, why i would buy a PS4 or XBOX just to play the exclusive games, and then i have to pay only 3 years after for an updated console? I really like bloodorne, uncharted and horizon for example, but i would not pay a lot of money just for play them, AND even if a could afford it and bought a console, the fact that only 3 years after they release something more powerfull would just piss me off. It's a DLC, a f*cking DLC, on consoles, release the damn thing complete, and if you are telling me "well, when the original PS4 and XBOX One where released they where powerfull things".....really? a cheap PC was better than that, the same goes now, a cheap PC can play a game on native, not simulated, NATIVE 4K, at better graphics without any problem. Money is really a problem for me, if i could get a console or build a PC, i would hake the PC, now that i have work i'm actually doing that, and i have to change something just to change presets from high to ultra it would be just one or two components, not ALL THE DAMN THING. They run the majority of games at like 900p 60/30fps and when it’s 30, it drops a good amount of the time and can even go down all the way to 20 FPS. That’s shit. Especially on online games like gta, that are 30 FPS but perform like shit on the Xbox one. Sort of wish PC players understood that getting a 'good pc' doesn't solve everything. PC has terrible exclusives unless youre interested in ps2-era looking games. All that power and no decent looking games. Sure the frames are better, but it doesn't really matter at this age. Halo 5 plays at 60fps on Xbox one. Other games as well. Not to mention not everyone likes keyboard/mouse use. Of course you can use a controller, but doesn't that technically make consoles a better choice to game on if you're resorting to use their controllers for a better control?

It is very costly, mainly the reason why I stuck with play station. But many things you said here are wrong- PC has all X box exclusives like Cuphead, Halo and things like that + they have games like team fortress, LOL etc. Play station has a lot of exclusives that PC does not, and those games are selling well even now - this is why some people edge towards the PS, PC and switch which I am getting soon as it has mario and zelda : )

I got mine free from the taco bell giveaway with their $5 box. I'm impressed and glad I am starting with this console rather than the predecessors. It's really snappy with video streaming apps like Netflix the shows load almost instantly. I also bought the PS4 pro a long time ago and I honestly still prefer it. The PS4 pro user interface is great, games look great, there are a lot of good games for it and it is still very quick. It's definitely not as snappy as the Xbox one x but that's something in my opinion shouldn't matter. I'm mostly glad I got this thing for free instead of dropping $500 bucks for a console. I also can't wait to upgrade my tv to take full advantage of the 4K UHD and HDR options on both consoles and do a comparison. Also having a 4k UHD player option for the living room is nice but it's much better because it was free in my case. Like you said it's all a matter of personal opinion and mine goes to the pro and not the X. I think the pro is a much more suitable option in this period of gaming and video streaming.

Under normal circumstances, the Xbox One X would be considered a 9th gen, Same goes for the PS4 Pro since the hardware is a significant upgrade. But since both consoles have the exact same architecture as their normal counterparts, they're still 8th gen. It's odd, to say the least, because the average gen lasts around 5-6 years before a new console release. It's essentailly the Sega CD and 32x of this gen.

I’m still rocking my last gen Xbox 360. I have a 4K tv also; so buying this would definitely be an upgrade. Plus there’s TONS of Xbox one games I have yet to play. So even though there’s not a lot of exclusives right NOW, for someone like me it opens up a whole new world to be played. This is also why I wait before I buy the “latest tech” because something better always comes out sooner than later.
