All are good advice, but there should be a disclaimer about the use of an external ssd instead of the memory card that goes into the expansion slot on the back. You can only play backward compatible games off of external storage. If you are planning to expand your storage and plan to play current games that are specifically designed for Xbox Series X, then you'll need to get the memory card from Seagate that fits into the back slot.

True. Some games that are x/s optimized can still be played from a USB drive or a non ssd card. Games like Assasins creed Odyssey and State of decay 2 plus a few others,mainly older games though most need to be internally downloaded or on a ssd memory card. That's the main reason I bought the series X over the S was for the extra memory cause those SSD memory cards are very expensive and I didnt wait yo wait for the 1tb series S.

The only downfall to the extra storage is that, when a game is optimized for Xbox Series S/X Xbox makes it mandatory to download those games directly to the console.

Nice video. Careful how you talk about expandable storage though cause you made it sound like you can just buy and external and it will work. That is not the case, it will work for games that are not optimised for series x. But if you are trying to play a game like gears 5, you have to download it to the console or expanded ssd slot. Now some devs just add the upgrade to all versions of the game (cyberpunk for example) so you can play on whatever storage you want, but you just won't benefit from it being on a 3.0 drive

there's also a pairing button on the console. you just have to turn on the pairing button on your wireless headphones and press the pairing button on your console.

Should be mentioned that if you use a different SSD, you'll have to transfer the game you want to play onto the internal storage. Otherwise, you won't get the benefits the console offers. The external ssd from Seagate that goes in that slot is expensive, but acts just like the internal storage.

Just know that once the true next generation games come out that need the internal ssd, you will not be able to play off of a USB 3.0 external ssd. An install to the internal ssd or the expansion slot ssd will be needed.

Hi but there is a problem with your hard drive trick as the xbox seagate drive is the only one that has xbox velocity architecture so you can only store backwards compatible games on the SSD but great vid
