@lailcody152 Not PS5, the PS5 console doesn't have the ability to play Ps3 game, and only psn titles of ps2 and ps1 can be played on it. On the Xbox though just sign in to developer mode with Microsoft on the Series X/S. Then they'll let you develop/sideload anything you'll like on the console, in this case custom made PS3, PS2, PS1 Emulators.

I've been an Xbox fan ever since the 360 first launched in 2005. If it weren't for the backwards compatibility, controller comfort, left thumb stick above the dpad, the exclusives, and the history of games that I purchased throughout the course of 10 years I would DEFINATELY choose the PS5 as my console

Yeah my family has always had Xbox, my brother got the original Xbox when he was a kid and we played it all the time, remember playing Halo when it came out. Had an Xbox 360 that got the original Xbox one. Had the Xbox one for a while then I traded it in for a PS4 pro. I enjoyed the PlayStation, dint get me wrong, but it doesn’t have that feeling an Xbox does. Stopped playing for a couple years, then got a series S and then traded it for a Xbox series ax that I have now. Best console I’ve ever used. I still have the PS4 pro but haven’t hooked it up in a while. Don’t think I’ll ever go back to PlayStation. I prefer the look of Xbox’s over PlayStations also.

Despite owning a pc... I also picked up a xbox Series x Pro's of xbox 1. Quick Resume 2. Cheap physical games / multi-plats - great for physical collectors / Being able to pick up games without waiting for a sale on steam or xbox 3. Gamepass ultimate = Ea + Ubisoft + 1st party games + some indies that syncs /w pc = not having to pay for Ubisoft or EA subscriptions services 4. Play Anywhere titles = Being able to buy on xbox store... and have access to it on pc as well 5. Backwards Compatibility 6. Controllers are cheaper

If a physical game version is not as good as I thought it would be or I am simply done with it. I could resell it or trade it in. So at the moment I am using my PC for console games that I have had for a while and are PC worthy.

The Series X really sold me with the backwards compatibility program. I have a massive backlog of compatible 360 and OG Xbox stuff and being able to play them all on one box at modern resolutions and frame rates was a massive value add for me, plus I already own a lot of Microsoft store games on PC that are also playable on Xbox. I don't care about GamePass, I hate subscription models for content.

Love these vids on the current Gen. I flip flop about my thoughts towards them and then I realize how much a new pc would cost me so im grateful for these consoles. The biggest improvement for me is the 60fps and now I have it, it’s hard to go back. The PlayStation portal has been a game changer for me. Series X is the best console I have owned in 35 years. It’s insane the amount of stuff you can do when you activate dev mode I have played all the classic god of war games at 4k 60fps not even ps5 can do that. Series X has the best VRR as well and when you got kids my ps5 controller are always flat so the kids end up playing Xbox way more often because the controllers last way longer and gamepass is great for the kids they can play dozens of games for free.

The only thing I don't like about xbox is the blu-ray player. It does not resume from where you left off if you leave a movie or show mid viewing. Well, sometimes it works, but most of the time it does not. You have to go through all the non-skippable logos before you get to the menu.

I prefer the Xbox. Modern PlayStation exclusives don't appeal to me, and that's the biggest advantage the PS5 has. Game Pass is the best deal in gaming. Xbox also has the best backward compatibility program on console and has a ton of enhancements for older games. I also think the Xbox ecosystem is better. Everything else just comes down to personal preference. I'll probably still pick up a PS5 eventually because it still has more JRPG support than Xbox.

I have XSX, PS2, PS5 and my Switch set up on my TV and honestly, I feel like I’ve got 80% of areas covered as far as my gaming needs are concerned. But in terms of which is better comparing XSX and PS5? Just go where the games you want to play are or where your friends hang out on (which is redundant with a lot of cross-play games now). That’s all it comes down to. They feel practically the same. It’s not like the days of “Sega vs Nintendo” anymore - it’s more like comparing a red apple to a green apple, basically same damn thing, just a slight different taste.

@@bishopsmith3796 I use Game Pass on PC. I recently got a Series-X (I've had the PS5 for over a year) and I'm not willing to pay an extra $6 to get the same experience on PC. I hate to break it to you (and still support physical), but some of those games you buy today, might not work once server support had ended for the console. It's been that way since the PS3/360 era. I can't play the used copy of Resistance 3, I'd bought used several years ago for my PS3. The server to provide the patch (game was shipped unfinished) isn't there anymore.

Except PS5 Objectively wins based on selling TWICE as many units as XBOX. It's OK to prefer one console over the other, but that is subjective and nothing more. Software sells hardware, and XBOX has very little software worth talking about. Microsoft has or has not released a demo mode for the Xbox Series S/X consoles. It's possible that they are still developing it, or they may have decided to delay it for some reason. It's also possible that they may have decided not to release a demo mode at all.

i like Japanese consoles & games far better. i am going for Japanese PS5 it feels so Out of This World with thousands stacked on thousands of amazing Japanese/Asian games from PS1 PS2 PS3 PS4 PSP PS VITA & PS5 all on the PS5 console plus there's so many good exclusive games. then there's the truly amazing innovative creative Dual Sense Controller which is insane crazy fun to play with having adaptive triggers, haptic feedback, motion controls, touch pad, light bar, speakers, and a built-in mic that games take advantage of = overkill for a controller. also PS Plus is so good to have & true to keeping physical games tradition. ALL IN FOR Japanese SONY PS5!

Great thoughts! Thank you for sharing. I did disagree with you on Forza Motorsport. I played it at launch and I couldn't get into it. The graphics did nothing for me, the progression was terrible. I didn't feel like it brought anything new to the table from FM7. Forza Motorsport 4 and 6 are still peak FM in my eyes. Back to Forza Horizon 5 for me! I made the leap from the Nintendo switch to the Xbox series S last February. I love it! The price is reasonable and The fact that it came with 3 months of game pass for free was the clincher. It did make me hungry for a ps5. But I opted to just skip the ps5 and to build my own gaming pc instead.

I really think that it comes down to preferences... I got the Ps5 8-9 months ago and the only games i play on it is the multi platform games... Im bored to death ( except Uncharted ) from Ps exclusives... For me the Gears Of War franchise alone worths more than all the Ps exclusives combined... So, i decided to get an Xbox again. I keep the Ps5 for now but i think that its not gonna be long til i sell it.

Dude, we got so many games that date back to original xbox, honestly as long as you have the physical version of the game even if xbox discontinues some of the old games you can still play. Mr personally i would rather own an xbox this generation which actually has a disk drive rather than the next gen which will have no disk drive and xbox will try to lock us into a subscription service through gamepass. Even if it has been 4 years in 2020 this was state of the art and also you will still have the ability to actually own your games rather than being forced to do digital. Also if xbox one is still supported and its almost been 8 or more years you have nothing to worry about

In terms of usability, it's quite different. I do have a gaming PC, but things just work on my Series X, totally seamless, no tinkering with drivers, settings, windows and whatever. I do enjoy my PC, but I have less and less patience for that kind of stuff, I want an integrated experience.

I always bought PlayStation, but during the pandemic you could not buy one. In 2022 Amazon did a lottery to open up opportunities to buy either systems. I got an opportunity to buy the X Box and it works for me. Will not buy the PlayStation since a I don’t need both.

PS5 is better. The only thing Xbox has is the title of most powerful. Most powerful doesn't equate to most fun. The games are by far more enjoyable on PS5. True backwards compatibility. Even with all the game studio acquisitions Xbox can't release a good game.

Thanks yes I got the Xbox series s upgraded to the series X got the PlayStation 5 upgraded to the PlayStation 5 slim they are both great 👍 also I have the PS5 Portal they are both great. Also The last of Us 2 4K update was fantastic on PS5. The color depth on the Xbox is better than PS5 the PS5 dual sense elite Pro controller is expensive but fantastic. The Xbox series X Pro controller is around $100 is also fantastic with the back panels. Again you can't beat Gamepass Thanks for your review

Been using xbox consoles since the original 1st gen xbox. I remember being able to upload my own music via CD (remember those) and play my own music whilst playing a game. My mind was blown as a kid just having that function 😂 times have changed i know but i could never go back to using a PS controller, it just feels very uncomfortable but i know PS players who feel the same ahout the xbox pad.

I’ve always owned all the consoles and PC (4090). Most of the time I’m on Steam and GamePass (PC and console). But I do like many of the PS5 exclusives. If I had to recommend one to someone without a PC, etc. I think I would say PS5. But, personally, I’m team Xbox.

I owned a 4070 but couldn't justify the pc gathered dust and constantly thrusted with Microsoft because windows has crappy driver updates always turning off Bluetooth, changing settings and interfering where it doesn't need to be so I settled for PS5, between work, gym and everything else in life when has time to play all 3, other than you obviously.

Where i live, the xbox market is so low. So pre owned games and accessories are bloody cheap compared with ps5 :D. Also shops have more deals and offers and discounts for xbox :D. Love that.

Xbox rn is better than PS. Quick resume is a game changer.. Gamepass and backwards compatibility is huge. Xbox smashed PS last year and this year. So many great titles i never played old and new with xbox. It’s crazy cuz im a big PS fan. With games like the last of us and spiderman PS has some heavy hitters but Xbox is a great value and you get to enjoy the console all around. PS5 needs to catch up cuz Xbox X is growing strong rn, not to mention the exclusive title that Xbox is going to have soon like Dragon age, Elder Scrolls etc..
