This acquisition isn’t really about Xbox and PlayStation, it’s just cloud. 10 years time (conveniently) it will be cloud or PC only (maybe Nintendo handheld), after which Xbox will be the only player in the cloud. I think if the FTC were better this deal would have been stopped.

The reports I read state the new deal is only COD, but Sony had sweeter ones that referred to all existing ABK games. I also know there was a deal that allowed day one PS+. It should be known that much like the FTC (too soon?) Sony isn’t out to protect their consumers and only cares about their best interests and power. At one point they had the most beneficial options from MS because they held all the power as the only opposition to the deal. Now they’ve been humiliated and have to take the bare minimum MS was ALWAYS going to give (and even Sony knows that COD was never going to be lost). Microsoft really should make every future ABK game (that isn’t currently online live service like OW2 (so like Single Player games)) Xbox, PC, and XCloud only. When PS gamers complain they can just kindly remind them that Sony didn’t WANT non-COD ABK games.
