This acquisition isn’t really about Xbox and PlayStation, it’s just cloud. 10 years time (conveniently) it will be cloud or PC only (maybe Nintendo handheld), after which Xbox will be the only player in the cloud. I think if the FTC were better this deal would have been stopped.

CoD is the best selling game on PlayStation by far, and the 4th best selling franchise in gaming history only behind Pokémon, Mario, and Tetris. This is a huge deal, and it’s very disingenuous how much Xbox fanboys try to downplay this deal. Also Tencent isn’t really a threat, because they aren’t a platform holder like Sony, Microsoft, or Nintendo.
