Nice video, i added button 8: 159 and button 9: 160 to increase/decrease my jogging speed. also for the people who want to assign their own functions: in the UCNC installation dir, there is a documentation file which explains all the assignable functions and the 3 digit number to use

Many thanks for this video. It has enabled me to understand what the buttons do and I set up the standard plug in for the Xbox to suit me. The functions assigned to the standard buttons didn't seem to have much logic to their layout. I have now set my Xbox controller up so I can use it safely with my mill without having to think too much when operating it. Not sure why some documentation was not supplied with the software. There are after all a limited number of buttons to assign the tasks to. I was a bit mystified why not all the buttons were used, but I can use it as it is especially as a backup when I get my pendant. John

Is that a genuine Xbox controller? Mine doesn't seem to see all buttons but only a few of them.

inox1ck it's a cheap copy. All buttons except for the 2 triggers work on mine. Have you installed the Microsoft Xbox driver? Do a google search to find it if you haven't. Pretty sure you will need it.

So your not using mach3! How are you finding uccnc?
@diycnc34427 жыл бұрын
Anton Messina UCCNC is far more stable than Mach3 was for me. To use UCCNC, you need one of the UC motion controls. I use a UC100.
