Spoilers: This game is fun but my only complaint is that selecting Tommy and going into the Megazord fight as the Dragonzord doesn't switch to Dragonzord Battle Mode instead of the standard MMPR Dino Megazord

Pity they could let you use the Dragonzord in fighting mode or the Mega Dragonzord during the Megazord fights after you unlocked Tommy.

Yeah, Blue could have been like Donatello, Yellow like Raphael, Red is Leo, Pink would be the long-range character, and Black could have been the mighty glacier. And Green could have been the short-ranged lightning bruiser.

They really need to add more move variety to the beat 'em up sections, as well as differentiate the Rangers' strengths and weaknesses, as they all play pretty much the same. The only major difference is that Kimberly's Zord can fly. They also need to make the super meters charge up faster, and store multiple charges. And it would be nice to be able to use the Blade Blasters for ranged attacks, too. Maybe build up ammo for them with melee attacks so they can't be spammed endlessly. Tommy doesn't have a Blade Blaster, so he could build up energy for his Dragon Shield instead, and get temporary invincibility. As it stands, Shredder's Revenge puts this game to shame.

Rangers using special attack things like fire and ice that weren't in tv series since Super Sentai Zyurangers didn't either looked similar to SNES game that didn't have green ranger. Tommy's Dragonzord power which was missiles was almost/partly the only one in tv series since Dragonzord's fingers fired missiles. Billy's Triceratops power was lightning like Sega's Kyoryu/Dinosaur King ceratopsids (horned herbivorous dinosaurs).
