with the rate at which they're releasing Skulltimate Secrets... soon you'll be able to have a whole wall covered in the lockers asfdafa by the end of this year we're supposed to have fifteen I wanna say? It's WILD. also can confirm Skulltimate Clawdeen is probably the best G3 Clawdeen so far, while still being poly her hair is much better imo

Ah yeah I got mine from PaulMart which is a small business who distributes them and generally gets them in weirdly early… unfortunately they haven’t been spotted much aside from that!

Monique’s dress reminds me of Iris from Rose Petal Place, a line I’ve loved since I had them as a little girl. Super lovely doll, zero regrets buying her.

I assume that the Cry Babies line may want to focus on European countries so they try to put more dolls that will resemble the audience in Europe that will purchase them. Same with Japanese dolls. As someone from Poland most European doll lines that I saw focus mostly on characters that look European and when they expand they usually add more characters from different parts of the world.

As a Belgian, so from Europe, I can assure that there are no less poc in Europe than there are in the US. Even just looking at Spain, Greece and other southern countries, they're tan at least. So those people deserve rep as well, diversity isn't any less in Europe

Thank you for the review. My daughter informed me we need the elvira doll and also the shadow high all purple doll and maybe the blueish one. We have all the creepover dolls and love love love them. She's young but loves the g3 monster high dolls she likes some of the rainbow high dolls but so far liked all the winter break line best. She rarely likes a whole group at once. I showed her a couple g1 and g2 monster high and she said no, But as soon as she saw g3 she was all for them. We love your doll videos. If she watches with me she tells me what she likes. Thank you for sharing your world and you dolls always. I wish I had found your channel sooner, many years ago.

The quality of the Licca-Chan Cinnamon Roll is much higher than My Melody and Karomi. It is still very expensive though, I am Canadian but I believe it is around $145 usd plus shipping and import from Amazon Japan.

That cinnamoroll one is SOOOO beyond gorgeous but I’m not sure if that is worth paying 5x what I think they’re worth 😔 if I ever find a deal I’d love to have her

I did some pre-orders this month, like Nendoroid doll Bianca, expensive for a small doll but I couldn't resist. With my xmas gift card I got Shadow High Rexx and Monique, love her. I also got my first Kurhn. She's panda themed and has a cuter face paint than most Kurhns imo, but she's still in box so I don't know the quality. I want one of the sunshine OMGs eventually. I've been meaning to try out BFFs, though yeah, it would be nice if they were a little more diverse. I've seen the Sailor Moon dolls on pre-order at Big Bad Toy Store, but I'm hoping to find a better price than theirs. I've also been thinking about getting another Licca-chan, but for me they are kinda like Barbies where I feel the need to change their bodies. I think in one of your po box videos someone sent you nude doll on an obitsu body, it's like a smaller made-to-move body but with prettier joints and a soft torso. If you're ever feeling experimental you can pull a Licca head off fairly easily and put it on the obitsu to see if you like it.

As spanish, yeah in Spain people Dont care that much about diversity in doll lines. I think doll collectors apreciate It... but usually non White dolls Dont even come or they sell worst idw. I guess is similar to licca dolls in Japan.

My favorite doll that I got in January was the Elsa and Anna concept art collector dolls from Disney! I really hope we see something more for them this year since it will be there 10th anniversary this year!

The Elvira looks like she has the same quality as Glitch whose behind her. Actually Glitch has better quality she does come with more accessories.

I'm absolutely loving Monique, she's probably one of the top five dolls in my whole collection. Of the SH series 2 dolls I only have her and Zooey (who I also love, but I don't like how the tinsel makes her hair harder to brush and play with), though I am planning to get Karla. I might get Glitch if I find her on clearance, but I haven't really connected with her or Dia. I also picked up SH Heather on clearance, which was a great deal, I think she might've been under $20. I got Creepover Draculaura and Twyla, and I'll probably skip the rest unless I find them really cheap. I've seen the Princess Serenity doll on sites like the Big Bad Toy Store, but I'm currently job hunting (my current job is grant funded and is going to end soon) so I'm waiting to make any new purchases until I'm more financially stable (or until my tax money comes in, whichever's first).

I think European customers care about diversity but European retailers don't care/think we don't care. I've seen it time and time again. Almost no Bratz Sasha dolls on the shelves (I've been collecting Bratz since I was a kid and I have 1 (!!) Sasha), Barbie Looks #10 nowhere to be found... Distributors and retailers need to do better because I know dolls they think won't sell well would actually do perfectly fine (people here are bidding like crazy for the few Looks #10 dolls being sold by private collectors online!)

I’m going to be doing a video on it but in my description I link zenmarket which is a Japanese proxy website that I now partner with and they have amazon Japan access which can get you licca dolls for their retail cost:) you just pay fees for the proxy service (per item fee as opposed to other sites which fee other ways and in my experience end up being more more expensive) and then you pay international shipping to wherever you live!

My daughter loves cry babies bffs we have Ella. I think the other 5 release 3/1. Ella is actually on sale right now $17.99 and series 1 is $12.59 each they did lower on Target to $13.99. 🍓🍓🍓 my MH creepover party is the same order Drac was my fav then Twyla then Clawdeen then Frankie. 🖤🖤🖤 I only have Clawdeen in skulltimate secrets I def want Lagoona most then Drac then Cleo then Frankie. I shouldn’t have to really explain that? But we’re also talking about a show made in Japan (98% Japanese population) in the 1990’s versus a show and toy line made for a “western” audience in the 2020’s. Japan has a HUGE colorism issue and could improve a TON in those departments with their media and their toys absolutely. However… it’s not even close to the same thing and I’d think it’s pretty clear to see that. There is nuance to things. I feel sometimes people intentionally ignore that because they think they’ve made a point.

That’s what I’ve heard which is what I kind of was getting at. It sucks but I know america is in more of a unique situation than the majority of Europe where we’re not majority white everywhere (which a lot of white Americans get super upset and weird about).
