Higher Ground: Paragliding in the Himalaya

Tom de Dorlodot and Horacio Llorens go paragliding in the Indian Himalaya. Leaving from the popular site of Bir/Billing they fly first to Manali, then cross the Rohtang Pass before flying to Keylong. I did that with my shoulder once. Now, 30 years later I still have a wee lump on my shoulder because the arm bone never really got back to where it should be. That arm is a bit lower lol. It works fine though and I'm still on top of my paragliding game at 60. So don't worry. Just one of life's wee 'tattoos' on your body. A way to remember those fun days when you're old. I remember going to all these places by road, about 4 years ago.. it was extremely arduous and demanding.. these are THE most dangerous terrains one will ever traverse, but from up there on the glider wings, they look So different and deceptively pretty! Awesome, super video!

Great video, love the locals inviting you. But you are pros and you show some poor examples to average pilots by filming yourselves with no hands on the brakes, helmet cam which will catch lines on a major collapse.
