(XCXWiiU-016) Man helps Lao's team in Oblivia affinity quest in Xenoblade X

Doing the Affinity Mission "A Friend in Need" which is also needed to unlock Chapter 6
Vandham reports that Lao's team is low on supplies in Oblivia, and that Lao himself left them. We go out to find the squad mates Saiden, Shingo and Mondo. Despite assuming at first they Lao's disappearance would bother them, they are actually very supportive of him as fans. We help them clear out an area full of Chasm Forfex and a Fierce Vigent (which I was afraid would almost instantly finish us because of me badly abusing overdrive) so that they can set a data probe. After that's done, we meet them back in NLA where they reveal Lao's behavior may be a coping mechanism since his family couldn't make it onto the White Whale. The quest completes. Afterward, I accept two sidequests but don't work on them yet: one has Regina ask me to survey 30% of Oblivia so that she can pass her and her late husband's shop to L, the other has the Ma-non Tutura asking me to check the Ma-non ship to help with their business.
Last part is me just improving Doug with new equipment and skill/arts upgrades. Probably not useful given how I know I have to shuffle fourth team members a lot, but I like his vibe.
