Ola XD, you're a real one for helping out beginners but this is not how to gain stage. When gain staging you must not use post faders (faders on your mixer) You must use pre-faders (that's your input volume) Why? Because "post-faders" have effects from the mixer rack on individual tracks (hope this makes sense)

So if you're gain staging using post faders then that means you're controlling signals that are already processed (EQ,Compressor and all other effects you used on individual tracks)

No mean to dispute but why didn’t you show adjusting the volume on the channel rack (gain staging) ofc like u stated there are a bunch of ways but you turning down the volume on the faders still doesn’t make the plugins get the signal at the correct levels. Good video tho but I think gain staging is a better technique
