1:44 goes to show how times have changed. Back then the topic was still sensitive and a bit hard to openly talk about even though this particular show is now known for the relationship between the two women on the screen. I could understand the crowd’s reaction given that this event happened before anyone saw that damned finale, but I appreciate the actresses for acknowledging it as the root of the relationship between their characters. They embraced it before it was cool to do and for that I’ll forever love them 💜

@EMCdance Yeah that was funny. But it was taken out of context. She was talking from Gabrielle's POV. And they do so many interviews etc. they don't remember what was said exactly and in what context. So people took it as Renee saying it about Lucy when it was actually Renee saying it about Gabrielle relating to Xena.
