Very surprise to learn how easy it was to setup Xenia Canary compared to RPCS3. RPCS3 was a pain to setup at the beginning for me.

Yeah. At 5:51 he says to make copies of the .toml But then he makes copies of folders.. Do the .toml copies need to be in the folders? That's where he lost me.

even with SWICD running Lizard mode, and canary is in --fullscreen, I can't seem to be able to hide cursor when using right joystick, and when hitting "B" button switches game to window mode, also "x" button seems to open Virtual keypad... It is super annoying and can"t figure a way to disable this. Any Help would be appreciated.

do you have steam open while you use the emulator? because if you do, then the bottons for the controller will be all messed up as steam change them when in desktop and not playing a steam game, try to close steam with task manager definitely when you dont use it, and it should fix the problem

idk why, i followed every step but on sonic unleashed the 60fps patch doesnt work and after the 2nd pack of robots(there's 3 of them) it starts glitching and then i get black screen

Hi and congratulations for this video. I just wanna ask if you know how to manage those games that are always asking to Sign In with a Gamer Profile. I know that there's an old Xenia Canary version that allows to make Sign In Profile setup, but it's not te best option in my opinion. For example, if i open FLASHBACK HD i can't start new game because first of all requires to Sign In. Anyway, thanks for your video and good job on your channel.

To be honest I haven't even noticed any game that wants you to Sign in with a gamer profile, so unfortunately I don't know anything about it. But I'm 100% sure you will get your answer in xenia's discord server in the help section: discord.me/xenia-emulator

A bit late, but if you go into the xenia config file in your documents folder change the hid from "any" to "xinput" for your controller. This disables the keyboard as an input and the game then registers you as player 1 and not player 2 (it thinks you are player 2 because of the keyboard acting as player 2).

Hey, I have done the tutorial thank you, but I have an issue. I don't know how to figure out making the shortcut work properly. (As in I don't know how the path to my game file/iso is supposed to look) Thanks.

Basically, you want to find your game file (the iso) and copy as path. Then, go to your brand new shortcut and access its properties. On the line "Target" after the \xenia.exe" section, add a space and paste your path. Ensure that there is exactly one quotation mark on each side of the path. Once finished, add a space at the very end followed by --fullscreen Once done, your "target" should look something like this: "C:\Users\Your Name\OneDrive\Desktop\Xenia\Your Game\xenia.exe" "C:\Users\Your Name\OneDrive\Desktop\Xenia\Xbox 360 ROMs\Your Game's ISO Folder\Your Game's ISO" --fullscreen I had to do a bit of deciphering, but this worked for me. Hopefully this helps! Good luck, friend.

master one works completely fine now no need going to this hazzle ofc canary was good but i prefer master one just have every game in one directory and volla you good to go just don't use vulkan but use directx12 on gpu config

Its ffor the amount of games. if you have an nhl game you make one copy and rename the copy to the folder name of the game. since he wants 4 games he Makes 4 copies

something happened and they removed the vsync interval portion of the TOML file. It's really really annoying because the ONE fix i see for the issue im having is NOT POSSIBLE IN THIS CURRENT VERSION. All i see is Vsync true/false, no interval setting. meaning it's either laggier or laggiest. jerks. i smell a paid version coming soon.
