I had some experience with Motion Capture and gotta say those recent Final Fantasy games have, aside from the realistic performance capture, a seriously stylish fight and movement choreography. Considering how important the story and dialouges were in this franchise, they really did it justice this time. PS. You almost saw me as Leon in those new Resident Evil Remakes🙂 You got a really interesting content, did you play Siren, a Japanease horror, I think you'd enjoy it.

I think FF14 is one of the nicer MMO communities still, but I played Eve Online for three years prior to FF14 so was tested in the fires of "guild heads doxxing people while putting registered sex offender in group admin position" level drama. FF14 community was much much nicer early on in its life cycle when it was niche content. Ovivously as it becomes more mainstream it becomes harder to regulated community interaction outside of niche groups you make. I definitely think that Japanese Conservativism in regards to game rules has a Ying and Yang of toxicity. On the one hand getting flamed in the chat for not using a plugin will get someone a ban. On the other hand the quiet, conflict adverse dip and dash causes arguements to explode when they're brought to light. Having so many small, insular groups will eventually cause different wants as well as prejudice.

It all started when the WoW community came over tbh mods aren't going teach your rotations or where to stand. That's why I stopped raiding not of a fan any third party tool. If it was meant to be in the game it would be. Then you get flame for having an opinion cause you knew the game before all this bs and my group would clear pretty easy on most end game content. It was way less toxic just sucks how much it has changed.
