Hey all! I'm glad to see that people still want us to continue the Blade Showcase series, and I'm more than happy to hear your suggestions for the ones we still haven't done! By the way, for those wondering about how to farm Pyra's cooking skill, repeat Fast Travel to the Torigoth Base Entrance to pick up most of the ingredients for a Glitterbake (make sure to stack blades with the Agronomy Field Skill) and then when you have enough, start fast travelling to the Flight Deck in Argentum to pick up the spot that drops Glitterspuds! It's boring, but it can be finished in about an hour.

You don't really need any element in particular for Poppi's builds. Light is just useful for self stacking (though Fire does this also) and it is the weakness of many super bosses.

Comparing Pyra to Typhlosion is actually a really clever analogy. Both are fire characters that are generally outclassed but not outright bad. Also I love Pyra more than Mythra from a character / design stance.

Vess and Gorg are harder to max, Pyra at level 2 cooking starts making 2 instead of 1 and both count toward the total literally halving the required amount needed from level 2 to 3 (she is the only crafting skill blade like this)

Pyra is with you in the start but you lose her and in her place is Mythra . But Mythra is 1000000 times more powerful than Pyra, so you see, there is no need to switch to Pyra ever again.....

*STORY SPOILERS* Am I the only one who legitimately wants to see Pythra/ Pneuma as her own blade instead of the timed powerup shtick they made her. Honestly, make Pneuma and Logos DLC Rare blades since those aren't necessarily required to be canon. Make her a little less powerful if need be (although KOSMOS, Herald and QT PI give out insane numbers so she shouldn't be a problem) and let us have fun with her.

AzureRoxe Honestly, if they use the dlc as an excuse to charge us for blades that are already present in game but no new ones, it'll be underwhelming. As much as I would really love Pneuma, Malos and Jin, I would love entirely new blades as well.

Well, the third form is essentially Pyra and Mythra as one, I don't really mind it being a timed form. Especially given its immense power. Plus, Pneuma isn't a new character but a combination of two minds working together.

In the post-game, Pneuma is useless. Her damage gets autclassed by Mythra's and Mythra gets outclassed by Dagas, Corvin, Elma, Poppi QTpi, Fiora, Patroka and T-ELOS

Fun video Nn Li. I wanted to ask if you would know what piercing lunge does? I was trying those skills on Poppi in her different forms and it doesn't seem to do anything. I tried on some monsters around Fonsett village with and without that part and saw no difference on the damage done for both driver arts and specials. I was expecting more damage with piercing lunge V equipped since it ignores defense, according to the description.

heavenly dragon You basically use her for breaking Orbs in a finishing chain attack. She has access to any element you need for building an orb. She doesn’t need an aux corse because she’s already broken & she makes elemental bursts easier. She’s not like a normal blade, she’s only used as a last resort or to finish off a super boss.

Well, Pyra is good. While not S tier like Poppy QT Pi or Mythra, she is very good, especially with blade combos. And there is not much dilemma about using her or not - she is always available, whenether you like it or not :D Personally, after I got Mythra I stopped using Pyra - mainly because I liked Mythra more - both her design and gameplay. It's too bad that you can't switch between them mid-chain attack. And I hope that with New Game+ (or after some other patch) you would be able to remove her from Rex. While I have nothing against Pyra\Mythra. forcing them to allways be on Rex gimps Rex blade and class choises. Again, great video! Not that many blades remain, so keep it up! ;D P.S.: one bad thing about Pyra: Freaking. Cooking. Skill.

You can switch between them mid combo during battle. after chapter 4 you can swap between them without losing affinity.

Eh, Lightspeed Flurry can be approximately simulated by using two pouch items for arts recharge. Stacking so many multipliers can't. Oh, and if you wanted you could stack extra crit damage instead of extra party gauge (reminder, Rex has Drive to Win, which gives Party Gauge for critical hits) using an Optical Headband.

For your Poppi QT Pi build, how long did it take you to get the Light Element Core?

G G i farmed everything i needed in approx 2 days. Hmmm one day i played 8-10hrs the other i played like 5 or so hrs tiger tiger back to back. The only thing i did not get was that fucking light mod so that tells you all you need to know...

G G ps: farm like 30-40 times from each level to get the "V" of the necesary mods like max attack and other usefull shit then sell the ones you think are not usefull aka the lv 3 and below without having to use ether to buy them. This way you maximize efficiency and are able to spend all your ether to unlock all of poppis slots and max capacity. The after you have done that to stage 1-4 just play 5 until you get the master mods. If you get lucky youll get the light core or just get tired when you get multiple master mods and no light cores drop and then stop playing tiger tiger bcus you literally maxed poppi out besides getting the light core... only thing i have had to buy soo far was a 2 treassure sensor level 5 for qt and qtpi for farming reasons. I practiacally got most of the dmg mods from the 30-40 runs in stage 1-4
