​@TheKek I didn't really play much where I would slam the joy cons, it was like a combined 400-500 hours of BotW and XC2 that gave me drift and even in BotW I mostly just liked exploring. I did play other games however I was only playing those two when it became noticeable and this was like months after playing anything else. I think for me personally it's just the hours really stacked up when I only uses one pair. You seriously must just've gotten lucky

Actually, yes. In the original, Monado:SPEED would crank your movement speed so high, the game wouldn’t render Shulk’s run animation (I don’t know about the other characters). So you would ACTUALLY START DRIFTING.
