Great Video. As a note to anybody watching it, just turn your wheels and you can get to the bulb hatch, it is not necessary to take off the wheel. Be mindful that this will limit working space however.

Tbh most helpful video I’ve watched. I just wish you showed the end, I couldn’t get the metal wires to clip back on at the top :( after hours of trying. Idk maybe something broke but I haven’t been able to figure it out.

Hi Fernando, was this Philips bulb the one from the factory? I am asking because, when I bought my F34, the light output was insanely good, I was blown away how good the lights are compared to my previous car with xenon. Recently one bulb died, so I let my garage change both bulbs (They fitted Osram) and what a disappointment. It is like some halogen H7 now : ( ...terrible. So I am trying to figure out what is the original bulb, which I guess was fitted in my car before. Thank you in advance!

yes, this is the original lamp. be careful because other cheaper brands don't give you such a good light. and you should always change the two bulbs

As projectors age, they develop a cloudy layer on the lens. That needs to be cleaned inorder for peak performance.

you only need to replace it when a lamp goes out. and you need to replace both to have the same light intensity and the same color. the ideal is to replace it with good xenon lamps because otherwise they will have a good intensity of light.

As I see there is some F30 with Osram Xenarc, and some with Philips Xenstart fitted by factory. Is there any rule, what is production year of your F30?

From what I can tell the Philips are clipped on as in this video, the Osram is clicked on and it doesn't need a clip and is found on later model years. Make sure you know which one you need!

You don't need disconnect the battery. The xenon bulb is one for head

Exactly. This is what my 2015 335 f30 looks like (not h7 bulb) welp back to expensive ass DS bulbs. Thought I took a break from my 06 530. Nope!!! Back to expensive ass DS I guess.
